I am a 58 year-old divorcee and empty nester. I am the Mother of three and Grandmother of 9 plus one in July. I am currently working as a Tax Accountant this year with a franchise out of Indianapolis, IN; prior to that I was a self-employed Tax Accountant. My business was mobile which kept me on the road a great deal for the four to five months out of the year. I had not been in an office setting since December 2009 when I lost my job. I have not looked back but I have been looking forward. I earned three degrees: an Associates Degree in Accounting from Bryant and Stratton College in Richmond, Virginia in 1995, a Bachelors Degree with a major in Business Administration and minor in Accounting in 2008 from Averett University in Danville, Virginia and a Master Degree in Business Administration in 2010 (on-line) from American InterContinental University in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. I enjoy helping people and take donated household goods, which is distributed to needy families or anyone in need. My goal is to start a non-proft organization that is geared toward "strengthening families." I need more resources in order to help my family, friends and other people. I too, need to reinvent myself in order to do the things I love.

I am excited and thank you Dean for this opportunity. My tax season is about to end and this is a perfect time to get jump started. I am fearful but I will use the IE Parachute!
