Trying Desperately

Hi All - DG Family - ok here is what i did in 2 weeks I viewed a rehab/fixer-up. contacted the ower - sent the owner an email of my offer - he lessoned it by one thousand dollars - had on my contract "and/or assigns" asked him to sign - but he did not, he did confirm the email by saying its a go - had his attorney look over my contract with an addendum. I contact my buyer (found on CL) who went to see the property with the owner, (I did not go to the property) and now, I will followup with the buyer to see if I have a deal.

I don't know if I did it correctly but I did make an attempt. Any Comments?????

Are you saying that you didn't put the property under contract and you sent a buyer to check it out?

Eager to make the deal.

As eager as one might be to make the deal, I would make sure that I got a contract signed before letting a buyer check it out. You may have a deal for your seller and your buyer and not yourself.
Maybe you will get lucky on this one, I hope so! my experience in Real Estate as shown me the oposite in individuals w/regards to ethics.
Good Luck and let us know how it turns out

you should ALWAYS have a property under contract before sending a buyer to look at--

I've seen too many times a buyer go around you to the seller and cut you out
