Help. What is date of 2012 Edge event

Falling into place.

Ok, so I got some "tough love" from another member on my "journal". A little "stinging"... as any "truth" can be I guess, however I think the person is reading their own angle into it. I guess you just need to be careful of how much info you post up on these sites. I am really just talking to myself, however I do realize "others" are "free to listen in". Stinging part is the "comment" just reinforced how much time I've let go by not taking any action. IS that such a bad thing to feel messed up about?

Journal entry #1

Well, here's the start to my journey! I finished reading B.A.R.M. about 3 weeks ago. I must admit that things are a little slow on my end as I am currently unemployed and in search for employment. I live in the Las Vegas area, and plan to lay my roots of real estate investing within that city.

Progress that has happened in my short R.E. career:

-- Decided to get online and visit the website "www.GoSection8.com," which is a property rental website. I figured that properties listed for rent were posted by the owners themselves.

I remember when Robert Allen first came out with his book the challenge. I was in my late twenties or early thirties at the time. If I only knew then what I know now things would be much different. I have always had my eye on real estate. I even did a little bird dogging for some investors at one point. I thought then that I would be able to learn form them, but they disbanded. I was disappointed.
I purchased courses from other real estate celebrities but in each case I was excited at first but not thing really happened. I guess I thought I really did not knew enough to get in the trenches and grind it out to make it happen. But I realize know what has been holding me back. It is F.E.A.R. False Evidence Appearing Real.

I have a residental remodeling company that takes me into all types of neighborhoods[markets]daily. . I am coming across a minimum of five properties daily that are FSBO or for rent.I want to start my investing career with the no money down strategies. I am needing investors to partner with on these properties which we are getting at great discounts. My remodeling company will run the numbers and also do the repair/remodeling work. Looking for partners to make this happen. ASAP!(:

YYYAAAHHHOOOO update on deal #2

So I bought this foreclosure at an on line auction site for $2200 in Detroit. This happened this past Tuesday while in the 2nd day of class with the mentors. Called a real estate agent that night to take a look see and peak in the windows. He called me today and offered me 6k. I said the deed will not even be ready for a a few weeks, Let me think about it.
Now I have to ask myself why was he so hot to buy? Think I'll just drive up there and see for myself. He told me it was unusual in that area for a foreclosed property to look so good and still have appliances in the kitchen. Sounds like a rental to me, or certainly more than 6k, when comps show surrounding props selling from 18-40k
