you are absolutely right!!! Ive been watching your videos for a while now and only dabbled cause the biggest naysayers in my life are the ones closest to me... you've encouraged me to get rid of the emotions...examine the logical... and find my inner snicker!!!

Just saw this blog and it's one of your best! My biggest obstacles are fear and procrastination. Everything you said was so right on. I don't want to look back 5 years from now in disappointment and wishing I had taken action. Now is the time.

I am ready to make a change in my families future and prepare for my retirement from the military in less than 4 years. When I actually retire, I don't want to work for anyone, I want to be my own boss and enjoy life and watch my daughter grow up, which I have missed so much of being deployed numerous times.
It is time to make a change.

To get Motivated one needs to be Emotionally primed and ready to Go for It,
And one also needs to use the Logical part of their Brain to move forward with
reasoned Purpose and Intent. I have been receiving your weekly videos for over one year, but I have waited-out the down-turn in the RE market since 2008. Thanks to You, I realize through this weeks "pep talk" that I need to be Logical and not let negative Emotion rule my ability to take action. As of last Tuesday I have looked at 8 properties. I will never again let my Emotions overcome the Logic of which you speak!!

I have been camping to try relax my medical back problem.And I am just listening to your e-mail.I am so sorry I could not listen to it until now.But I have been gone since Thursday night.I would like to get your Free Book.Your wisdoms are great.And I try to listen to them all.But sometimes I can not until later.But they are all very interesting and i have tried to get the money to get my first house.And everyone that I have talked too supports in doing this.

Thank you Dean for always hanging in there with us and for us. Even when we are our own worst enemy. I realize I missed the opportunity for the free book, (unless there's still a chance) and that has been one of my fears that I will miss out on REI because of fear, procrastination and some kind of paralysis that grips me when I start to take a step towards my goals. It's a downward spiral that I can't seem to stop. I'm still trying to conquer this. I haven't given up and won't. I'm trying different things (prayer at the top of the list) and inch by inch, I am making progress, even if it isn't noticeable to anyone else yet. So thank you again. (Took a Break--Back now.) I think I'm starting to understand a new piece of this that I'll then be able to let go. Yay!

Your real estate info has been right on and got me moving in the right direction. Regret that I did not take action sooner. Thanks for your encouragement Dean. To everyone else out there: Take a step forward, no matter how small, before you know it, you'll have done it all. This stuff works.

I think that most people can be negative or skeptical by nature. They watch you start this new endevour of real estate investing and they are skeptical and doubt you can succeed. But what I have seen slowly happening as I start to succeed more and more those people watching you take you more serious and then more and more people want to join you after you are doing well. It is as if they are afraid to jump in and risk anything with you but once you have taken the risks and are succeeding they want in now that it's safer. We are the pioneers. We are the risk takers but know that as you succeed the negativity starts to disapeer. Joe

It is like carrying a big rock on your shoulder, and if the people you need and want on board are anything but on board, Its really hard and I hope that if you are one of these people, get on board and make things go easier and if they can't we have to just keep going until we get to a point where our people will get on board. Even if its really hard now, if you never give up it will be just like you believe it will turn out. KEEP MOVING FORWARD!!!! Thanks for all your support Dean

thank you Dean, you are so great, and all your videos help to keep us on track and especially motivated. fri we finally made 4 offers, finally! we had all the info from your books, but could never find the money. Then i looked in your book of where to find the money, again, and you said a lot of your students used Coastal funding i think it was, and we finally got a proof of funds letter, so we made the offers w/our REagent. So many houses have slipped through our hands looking for money, you wouldn't believe it. We got over the no confidence to talk to people by calling all the places we could for money. you have to. we were treated so badly and rude by so many, but finally found people who would try to help. it is an instant boost in confidence.thank youand God Bless june

In life there are so many road blocks like loss of job, foreclosure, illness etc...and it is all too easy to just give up and say "i tried my best". but after watching your videos and reading the many responses from you and the DG family i have a renewed outlook that maybe i can do better for my family.
maybe i don't need to be a better student , i just need a better Teacher!

Dean I want to Thank You for being Honesty, Forth-write, and Enthusiastic! I bought your program a year ago, then had to set it aside to over come many obstacles including having to acquire up to 4 jobs to keep from losing my home, but Never Lost the Dream. Now after becoming More Spiritual Connected, getting Married, My husband graciously allowed Me to quit All of My jobs and find something I "Want" to do instead of doing what I "Have" to do! Now after working on getting Organized, and Focusing on My/Our Future I saw Your offer for a copy of Your book "Totally Fulfilled". Your energy levels are at an all time high and it
certainly rubs off on me when I listen to your videos. It just wants to make me get out there and GO!GO!GO! I just want to make my goal(flipping at least 10 deals, making at least $50K
and so far have flunked out on the REO's working with a Realtor. So I am picking up my GO!GO!
and moving on. The key to success is NEVER GIVE UP! I think I just quoted YOU!

Staying in touch with your network and education keeps me focused. Staying with the positive network is the key. Figure out how to overcome adversity and "Never give up" is the process.
