What's Hot? Real Time Site Buzz!

You may have noticed the What's New! link on the left side main menu. That is a list of all the new posts/content on the site.

We have now added the What's Hot! link on the main menu also. This presents a "hot list" of the hottest content on the site at that moment in time.

It works by calculating the number of different people who viewed the content along with the number of recent comments over a short time frame to determine what content has a buzz at that moment.

You now have another way to see way to see what people are researching and talking about in real time.

We will fine tune some parameters to make the list change more accurately without stuff leaving the list too fast or staying too long - but it is working well right now as it is.

Thanks for another great feature. I believe this will be helpful for newbies and for people that only have a few minutes a day to see what's the hot topic. I believe the organization of the website will assist DG Members to navigate through the website quicker and more effiently. Good job and keep the new features coming! Believe and Achieve!
