HEEEEEELP

HAS ANYBODY IN LOS ANGELES PURCHASED THIS BOOK? AND HAS IT BEEN HELPFULL TO YOU ? BECAUSE I DO NOT SEE HOW THIS CAN MAKE ME A MILLIONARE I BEEN TRYING TO FIND AN INVESTOR AND THEY ALL SAID THANKS BUT NOT INTERESTED!
(AT LEAST IT HAS HELPED ME TO KNOW MY CREATIVITY FINDING A VERY NICE USER NAME "McDollars")GET IT? Smiling
IF SOMEONE CAN HELP ME PLEASE! REPLY, IF NOT GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU! HONESTLY!

Sorry!!

I completely forgot about the all cap letters rules
sincerely sorry

Hey William!

Welcome to the DG family, glad to have you here... Ba dop ba ba ba, I'm lovin it! Get it? Well, the name and all... Nevermind!
Ok, listen. The book won't make you a millionaire unless you have the mindset that anything is possible. Now, the concepts in the book, used properly can make you a ton of money, but you have to apply them and take action! So, if you're serious about investing in real estate then get your hands on as much as you can on the subject. There are books or CDs at the library or stores like Bookmans or Goodwill even, that you can pick up cheap and learn what you need to learn. Knowledge is power and with that power you can achieve ANYTHING! But only with the right mindset behind it. Eye-wink

Good luck and God bless you,

Hi McDollars,

All I can say is READ THE BOOK! lol Smiling
Really. You would only be cheating yourself if you don't. Just being here shows that you really WANT to step out and make a change. That's the first step!

I wish you well, and YES!!!! 100 times, it DOES work.

God bless,

Rina

New Member.

Hi Everyone:
My name is David. I just purchased Dean's Book and I am only 2/3s
finished. I currently reside in the outlying Chicago area and will be concentrating on Real Estate in a 3 county area around Chicago.
I did not wanna waste any time getting to this web-site, and I'm glad I did, because procastination is something I have always had a problem with.

I have seen alot of positive things here , so far and I will be sharing more about my experiences with you later.
I've got a ton of questions to ask, and a ton of mini goals I need to reach before I can take on anything to big.
Right now, I am currently unemployed and am living in the basement of my parents house.
My credit has taken a beating, but inspite of it all, I feel as if things are getting better by the day.

Hey Dave!

Welcome to the DG family, glad you made it! What took you so long?? But seriously, things may look grim now especially if you're looking up from the basement (because it's dark down there) oh nevermind. But you're here aren't you? You're taking action aren't you? You've set goals haven't you? So how can that be bad? Hey, we've all been there with the credit issue and it's what I call current circumstances. Now the beautiful thing about current circumstances is that they are subject to change with the blink of an eye. So keep your thoughts positive, do your homework and take action everyday and you'll see things change rapidly! ;D

God bless you,

Los Angeles Area

Hi Robert. I am in the Los Angeles area, Hawthorne to be exact. I have purchased the Training & Mentoring Program, as well as Dean's book. I am still studying, and have assignments in these studies to do. I am also learning things by interacting on this website. I look forward to success, and getting to know others like your self that are on line here that are in the L.A. area. Anita is one great resource on this site.

Abbreviations

Hi Elena, I just realized from reading your comment to Robert that I can figure out the meaning of unfamiliar REI abbreviations by going to the search window. That will be a big help. Thanks again. Pas. Greg

Thank you for all of your wonderful support.

Thank You Rina.
I find your comments re-assuring. I come from a small town full of doubting Thomas's.
So, finding support was hugely important. Anytime I feel I have a problem with the world, I come here because it re-charges my batteries and gives me support I dont get anywhere else.

Sincerely:
Dave K.

Pastor Greg,

There are a number of abbreviations/acronyms in the "Glossary of Terms", as well. If you find any in the forums that are NOT included, you can leave a post and they will be edited in. Smiling

Hope that helps,

Rina

Know Yourself

David, you appear to be honest, in first acknowledging some of the challenges, I prefer to say of your past. However, these are what you learn from. Today is a new day, and with every new day comes new challenges. Our mission (Star Trek) should we choose to accept it is to embrace life, set goals, work smart, and achieve success through action. You will acquire a wealth of information that will assist you in your new venture. I and all of the other DG family members, wish you great success. God Bless.

Sandra

Getting back up,on my feet again

Well, I,m back:
As I said once before,( Procrastination ) is the thief of all time. Despite all the set-backs I have encountered this year, mostly
(Physical and emotional) The side effects of the medication I was on had taken most of the wind out of my sails, and now that the summer is almost gone, here I find myself, starting all over again.
Of the three books I purchased from Dean, I read each one of them from cover to cover, highlighting what I considerd to be key points in those areas of investing I felt were important for me to focus on. Now comes the mental clarity of being able to comprehend the material I've already read. Deciding not to purchase anymore material, I feel I already have more than enough information to give me the direction I need to go in. pouring over and reviewing those already highlighted area's,is what I am doing now.
( Now !)is time to set:(New goals) and ( RE-assemble) a team of real Proffessionals. Also starting from scratch again I need re-build my tenant Buyers list and my/ Investors Buyers list.
Now, with a re-doubled sense of vigor, I still find myself stumbling over my major obstacle (Confidence.) While I am waiting for the side affects of the medication to wear off, I have spotted a tiny little one bedroom Condo selling ata 3rd, of what it went for 3 years ago. It is a re-hab special and the Seller wants 5% down. They are talking about financing, but I'd like to assign this deal to another re-habber. I think the problem I am having is confidently knowing how to present my offer, without being laughed right out of town or coming off like a complete idiot who does'nt know what he is talking about.

Mcdollars,I have just

Mcdollars,I have just started, I live in California as well and am also having trouble getting started. But I love what im learning From the book "profit from real estate right now " and I believe everything will soon start to fall into place Just keep advertising and keep moving forward and Im sure we both will soon be on the right track. Sorry I cant help you out.

I took a big step in the right direction today.

Well it's great to hear you having confidence in the material Dean has to offer you. I have bought all three of his books and read them from cover to cover, and even though they are all excellently written, the one you are reading right now, I feel, probably has the most to offer.
Earlier today I was crying the blues over problems that seemed bigger than myself. But "cha" know what ? Action speaks louder than words. As I went about my busy day today, putting one foot in front of the other, things started getting knocked off my " To Do List." One by one. ("Huh, imagine that?")
I ride a mountain bike as my primary mode of transportation, and all of that fresh air and exercise must have stirred some of those creative juices inside my brain, because as I was riding from one town to the next, the light bulb went on in my head, as I had one of those;("Ah-Ha") moments. In regards to building my proffessional team,I thought about those Tax prepare'rs who helped me out with my taxes last February. Volunteering their time to those more unfortunate few who could not afford to pay someone to prepare their taxes for them.
And let me tell you, these guys were absolute miricle workers, setting up in the basement of the local library, where the line of people streched up the stairs, through the door outside and around the corner of the building into the parking lot, where. ( I was the 3rd one in line. )

Well today I had thought hit me like a 2x4 between the eyes and I thought about how nice of a job they had done back in February, today I set up an appointment to go see them tomorrow, adding them to my team of professionals. That is the one thing that has been holding me up, the inability of being able to take action. I dont think I would have known what to do if it hadn't been for reading that very same book you've got in your hands right now. ("Go for it Roads.")I think the best advice I can give is:( "Plan your work and work your plan.")But most importantly...take Action !
