OfflineI am a new invester. I had an ad on craiglist, looking for other investors. I am trying to find investors who can get loans or already have the money to buy homes. I currently don't have the money, and doubt I would get approved on loans cause of my age. I am 22. Anyways, I got a response from a big company in seattle that buys all over the states.
There response was "we specifically acquire houses in default or foreclosure, where the owner just wants to be 'done' with the situation. Our acquisition process is fast, and if your property meets our needs, we can accomplish the transfer of your property to our company in 24-48 hours."
Doing research on there site(cause i called and got voicemail) they pay a commission monthly for giving them leads. I was looking for more on the lines of earning a finders fee for setting them up with properties. I don't really know if I should just let it go, or maybe stick with them. I guess I am a little confused.
I am just looking for any feedback at all, or comments. I am a new investor like I said, and literally just started, so looking for all the advice I can get. So thanks in advance. Marc

check with the better business bureau. research their site more in depth. try again to contact a LIVE person and then if you get someone find ot EXACTLY what their pay structure is.

they are going to pay you a bird dog fee for finding a proerty for them to acquire. You do the leg work, send pictures etc to them and if they decide to buy, you get a fee for your time. Going rate in my area (upstate New york is $500.00 per deal.) Anita is right though. Research the company first before you waste your time......Jan
Check them out, make sure they are legit. I tried that and they seemed to be someone in the UK. If they ask for money, or decides to send you money without any transaction, be wary. Maybe as a newbie, you should stick with local investors through the clubs or find yourself a good real estate agent who is willing to work with you. There are great ones out there. God Bless
