Craigslist

Craigslist

Anyone ever found anything worthwhile on Craigslist? I look through it periodically and it seems like everything is in the "no deal" category- even in today's market.

Anyone see anythign different?

How do you go about weeding through all the listings??

TIA

I have used CL for years to sell and buy tons of stuff but I have noticed lately that the real estate listing has almost been taken over by Realtors and schemes. I check it throughout the day and when I see FSBO or something that looks like it was written by a non professional I contact them and usually its a hit.

Also if YOU place your ad strategically you will gain a great database for buyers and sellers it is all in the wording.

Good luck , it CAN work for you.

Craigslist ?

I have a question on posting your ads in craigslist. After you post your ad, craigslist says the ad is good for 45 days. everyday I look at my ad and it never gets posted the next day, do I have to post my ad again everyday, I thought craigslist does this automaticly. If I do there has to be a better way. I hope this is clear. Help.

Answer on CL

YES YOU DO. It will stay posted for the 45 days but it will just be posted under THAT DAY. so you have to re-submit it everyday for it to be there

I have found Craigslist most useful so far for building a buyers list. I have a total of 6 people/couples that re interested in doing lease options from me. I just have to find the right properties for each.
