Since I'm young, have no money, but an incredible amount of enthusiasm, assigning contracts seemed right up my alley. I was just wondering how do I get hold of an assignment contract. Do I merely call up a lawyer and tell him that I'm interested in assigning contracts, meet with him and talk about details, then have him write one up? Or do I need to find a property first, then call a lawyer and talk about contracts? Do I need a lawyer at all?!! Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks.

As far as getting a contract for the assignment you can also use the internet to find a contract you can use. Make sure it is a contract you are comfortable with. Don't let the contract issue slow you down from looking for properties, and also end buyers. You do not have to have a laywer go through the contract, just make sure it has everything you need and if both parties agree and sign the contract it should be binding to both parties.

If you do not find what you are looking for under forms and docs on here then try this site. It is state specific for legal forms. They cost a few dollars but worth the investment.

the forms & doc's provided here are great, but they are generalized and i'm not sure as to what i need to be protected fully and make sure the language is right for my states policies, i guess i just need to have a real estate lawyer take a look @ them ( the forms i copied off the web site ) to make sure they are within code.
