My spouse/partner's disbeliefs.

My spouse/partner's disbeliefs.

My spouse/ partner stays worried that this is a bad idea... i keep trying to reassure him that i have a good feeling about this and i will work, but it gets hard to stay motivated when there is so much negative energy around.

Get your karma right

Hi
all I can tell you is get your karma right. Know that you can do this and keep the naysayers out of your realm. Do what you have to do to make this a success and little by little show your husband what wealth of knowledge you are getting. Just have confidence in yourself and you will do this.

"FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION"

spouse's disbelief etc

At almost 60 years old In 2005 I bought 40 acres of desert in Arizona for $40,000. After just doing it, and my husband not supporting the move, I paid the monthly payment after paying $1,000.00 down.

I sold it in 2006 for $350,000.00. He unfortunately died last year but lived to support everything I wanted to do after that. We spent most of those dollars trying to save him from cancer which is why I am back in Real Estate again. It works or I wouldn't try it again!

You may not be so successful on your first deal but you can make Real Estate work for you it takes the "first step" so get out there and find a deal.

Good luck

Sophia, Thank you for

Sophia,

Thank you for sharing your story. Please accept our condolences on the loss of your husband. God bless you in your efforts now to continue on in real estate, and know that your story will encourage someone else in the same situation.

Sincerely,
Rina

You can do it!

Scheek 87,

Hang in there. Be patient with your husband. The more you learn and can share with him, the more confident you'll be. He'll see that, and you'll be able to work together on this. LEARN all you can so you don't jump in blindly. Then start to make it work for you! You can do it!

Rina

Scheek

I know exactly what you are going through. My wife is always second guessing and not agreeing and is just negitive of the whole RE investing business. And now it is even more so, beacuse in Aug. I will be loosing my job. I am a consultant as a network engineer (computer field) and our contract is not being renewed. So now every time I say hey I found this house....I get negitivity and but what about your job, I dont think investing now is a good idea!

So just keep tring to educate him and maybe he will see the light.

I feel your pain!

Thanks,
D
