OfflineGot a bit of a head start on Sunday, I placed ads on Craigslist and Backpage.com so my phone will start ringing. Printed a few thermostats to keep me motivated. Finished unpacking, doing laundry, cleaning, got groceries so I would get that 'menial' stuff out of the way... LOL! Read my quick start methods to get me going today.

9:00 AM Cruise a neighborhood on way home
Call pool service to get that set up
10:00 AM Return calls from ads placed on Sunday

Well, I made my calls on Saturday and would you believe most of them called back on Father's day? What up with that? So now I have to call them back again! So it's another round of phone tag.... YOU'RE IT!
I cruised another neighborhood on my way home from grocery shopping this morning, got a couple of websites for auctions, I'm gonna check out.

Well, it's been a while since I've been on my journal. Alot of medical things going on with one daughter and then my oldest came for a visit, so I've put REI on the back burner for the past few weeks. But I cruised a neighborhood and found 5 vacant homes today. I already found out the owners are out of town and have letters prepared to go out tomorrow. Will update when I have more.

Ha! You're funny, cooled down. Maybe for a milli-second! I tell you sister, I hate summers here. I'm going to buy a summer home and buy a cherried-out travel coach and cruise the country in the summers. It's one of my goals. ;D
I do have a letter I'll have to find it, I slept in this morning and missed the mailman so I have to send them out on Monday now. I guess I was tired, I'm usually up by 8am. Today I slept til 9:45! That's late for me, but I've had a couple of sleepless nights lately so I needed to catch up, even an hour. Today I'm going to get my letters ready to mail out, if it's not too hot I'll just mail them myself. Actually that's why I get up early, to get all my errands done before the blistering heat sets in... LOL! Going to spend today with the twins, tomorrow they have plans so I'll cruise another neighborhood after church. So have a great day, enjoy the cool weather... Ha!

I haven't written here lately because I've been battling so many personal and spiritual issues it's knocked me into a whirlwind. But I am determined to continue in my quest. Everytime I make a few strides forward something tries to beat me down. I've cried, I've laughed, I've gotten angry, I've gotten sick, I've gotten weary, I've gotten fearful, I've gotten tired of battling, I've gotten close to giving up, but I got through it and I am still standing. I continously say "This too shall pass." I'm not saying it's over, but I'm still here and I'm still working through every single battle to reach my goals. What's my point? I know many of you are facing your own battles as well. I've talked to you regarding them. Let me just say this my dear friends, you're NOT alone! To hear so much turmoil from each one of you, can only mean that we are SO close to reaching our goal! Most people would walk away and give up at this point, but stay in it to win it. Go the distance. You're NOT defeated, you're NOT a loser, you're NOT a failure, don't give in to those lies! These are just lessons you need to go through to get to where you need to be. I know when you're standing in the middle of a hurricane, a blizzard and a firestorm it's hard to see anything, but stand firmly with BOTH feet planted on the ground and ride it through. That's all I can tell you, just ride it through. Things will work out, the sky will clear and you will see the beautiful rainbow at the end of it. Now I'm going to cruise some neighborhoods tomorrow, make some calls, and submit at least one offer, are you with me? GOOD!

I stopped by to check out a few things before going to church and got distracted answering questions. I gotta go here in 15 minutes. Then I'm off to see a couple of homes I was turned onto, they're on the way... I have some calls out I'm waiting for returns on and I will be meeting with some other investors later on this afternoon. So I'll keep you posted on what transpires. I wish everyone a great day today! Make time for the family and try not to work today, but enjoy this day for the beautiful day that it is, you can work tomorrow!! Maybe I should take my own advice... LOL! (But today was the only day we could meet since we all work full time.)

It's been a while. I've had quite a few obstacles to face, but I've overcome them ALL and I'm still moving forward!! I got my LLC paperwork filed, I applied for my D&B number but they somehow lost my application so I had to re-apply!! GRRRR! I also got my EIN and will open my business checking account... Whew! Plus, I have some properties to look at over the weekend!!! I'm not going to go into details because I'm too tired from working 9 and 1/2 hours with TEENAGERS!!! We had some computer problems, so it was a pretty hectic day. But I digress! Anywho, tomorrow's my half day so I will be able to get some rei stuff done, YEAY!! I'll write more after the weekend.... It's the best job I've ever had, I gotta admit. It's very rewarding and I do enjoy being a positive role model to them. I've got two sisters that stay after school and I'm their 'mom' away from home... LOL! It's an awesome feeling to know that these kids come to you for advice and actually listen, unlike my twins... LOL! It's funny how that works! Oh well, I have faith that someday they will appreciate me, after the TEEN years...

Today I had another conference call, man I love them! They keep me stoked and I learn SOOO much new stuff every time!! I'm tellin you I wish Dean had more of them too. But I know he's too busy right now. Well, I'm going to call my partner as soon as he gives me the RIGHT number... LOL!
Then I have several calls to return about other properties. I'll keep you posted, but for now th th th that's all folks!!

I made all my calls and only got to leave messages. Talked to one and it turned out he was a realtor who asked me within 10 minutes of our convesation if I was pre-qualified... *eye roll*

The calls I made didn't pan out, they weren't motivated enough at this point, but they may call back as time goes by.

I am busting! I had a house in MI I bought at a tax lien sale and I finally sold it. Now the kicker on this one is that I've sold this home THREE times now!!! (Long story) The beauty of this deal is that not only did I make my money on this, but that I was also able to share the deal with another DG member who made money for finding me a buyer, so another win/win for EVERYONE!! Not only that, I'm going to do it with my partner's MI home as well... Another win/win for us ALL!! I LOOOOOOOVE REI!!! I have so much going on lately and ALL of it is GREAT, I'm on cloud nine! What a ride it's been... WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Got the contract signed on the second home now. Already have three interested buyers to assign it to. We're trying to negotiate the best scenario with the highest returns. This is getting interesting because we're really thinking outside the box now!!
