I just got off the phone with Linda. She is a great lady who is dealing with a big problem with her cats.
We talked about the importance of using this site and staying in contact with all of you. Her only computer is at the library so she may not always respond quickly. She needs a new place to live and is starting to realize that her 25 cats cannot move with her. She needs friends. Let her know you care. You all are the BEST.

You have stumbled upon a very tight family and you will find out that everyone on here will do everything they can to offer any help possible. I know it's tough with your animal situation. It took us over a year to find a rental that would except 2 dogs/1 cat in our price range. With over 20 cats you'll find it nearly impossible, BUT...you still have options in my opinion. Find a no kill shelter. They are out there and they would rather take them in and find loving homes for them than to put them down. That's what all of us would like to see happen, right? Another option for you animals is to post ads for free cats to loving families on free classified ads sites (ie. craigslist, backpage, oodle, etc.). If you live in or near a rural area, I know that farmers and ranchers like to have them around to keep the rodents out of all their feed and crops. You can clean them up and sit outside walmart or a supermarket and give them away as Christmas gifts during holiday shopping season which is ramping up. If you put bows on them you can get any kid to want a kitty cat and they will beg their mom and dad, pretty please, can we take him/her home? Keep us updated and we'll all do what we can to help.
Best regards.
Has anyone heard from Linda about her situation? It's been 2 weeks and I hope that she is getting the help she needs.
She sounds so desperate as if she is at her end or the cats, I think she needs to realize that something has to change and there are alot of nice families with children that would like to have a nice loving cat as well as adults would to and if she put up flyers and did some advertising and letting others in her area she has free cats to give away to nice caring homes Iam sure she can make things easier on her stuation and maybe the thought of losing her wonderful cats is why she hasnt let us know whats going on with her, wishing you all well, take care, Jim

with you Jim. That's why my initial post I was suggesting ways for her to feel okay about letting her cats go, but it's better than putting all them down and they will be able to live out their lives with a loving family. Roy did mention that she has to use a public computer to go online at her local library, which could be the factor of the lack of updates.
I just wanted to let you know after joining one of you conferences I decided to go ahead with the 3 day workshop held in Seattle. I found this to be very motivating and was given quite a overwhelming load of information. I have been in a very tight financel living situation for several years now as many people have. I worked 25 years in new home construction. The booming industry has taken a very bad turn here leaving a lot of us wondering how to replace not only the income we've lost but our self worth and dignatey, as men with the abilty to provide for our families. After going to the seminar and seeing you so many times on tv, I have found myself once again wanting to believe that you are truely sincere and above all else honest in your message of success in real estate. I dug deep into pockets that hold barely enough to keep my family from joining those unfortunate people now living in the streets. I picked myself up and attended the intense 3 day worshop presented by Mark Hrisko and his team. While I find myself not in the fortunate situation to be able to afford the advanced training offered there, (a value I believe that would absolutely change my and my families life) I still am going to try to use what I have gained in so many ways from the workshop to hopefully get the ability to attend the advanced training you offer. It is truely a no fail system with that training. Once again It has been a long time since I believed in someone offering success, and not simply trying to take advantage of the desire to servive giving nothing actually to help. I believe in You and hopefully I will be able too show others around me that You are as you say. I know I have a hard road ahead but I hope that with the knowledge and motivation I have gained I can make this provide the ability to go to your advanced training where you offer an absolute no fail system to success. Again thank you and your team of people for my knew outlook. Hopefully one day we can meet so I can personally thank you for giving me hope again!! A student in Training: Wayne Grant

i thought perhaps what i posted may be a little encouragement to linda to try solveing her situation with a similar situation as i have rather than just asking for a house. We all have troubles these days and could use some help but we must take steps to help ourselves also or do we really solve them at all? Also I have put some info in my bio. Maybe i need to go back and edit i think i may have limited who can view it to much. My mistake, first time here just figuering it out. Thanks for your comments

You have found the right site to get involved with and the opportunities are endless to make some good money and change your financial picture. By reading and working with Dean's programs you can have a whole new lease on life. This is positive and very good.
I realize your situation is critical at this point from reading your post. I want to help in my own way as I have a love for cats also. I manage "Secret Garden Colony(feral)". It is a family of 18 that started with a chocolate point on cream Siamese cat and her 3 kittens in tow. I started feeding them and was finally able to capture them but not before the mom and two of her kittens were with kittens. I did not know they were with kittens until I had them enclosed and let time show me. My whole reason for getting involved with them was to keep them safe and stop procreation. Some people will go out of their way to harm them and then also neighbors do not like to have cats spraying and getting on vehicles and other such nuisances. The number one goal was to get them fixed which I accomplished without putting out any money of my own.
I also was fighting to save my home and am retired so I do not have money to put out on extra animals. I reached out to feline rescue and a couple of other organizations here in my area. Vouchers were made available and the organizations get donations to care for cats. So that is the help I am offering to you. Go on the internet and type in feline rescue. Contact spca. I do not know where you are but you will need to research in your area. I hope you will find this helpful. I hope you will be able to find other cat lovers who will help you. I have found that I can not tell everyone how many cats or they will think you are nuts. Now there is one point of caution and that is that you do not become a cat hoarder. That is not good. Find shelter for all but two or three thru the organizations in your area. You must do these things for the right reasons. You can pm me if you would like further information or have any questions that I might answer.
I say make a plan for your time and REI. Make REI your job even part time and use your time wisely taking it one step at a time. Good luck and may God keep you in his care. Fill out your bio please and let us know where you are.
You hang in there. I see in your bio that you also take care of rescued cats. Good job. You are in the right place here on DG dot com. Endless opportunities abound. Dean is the real deal and he is providing wisdom, capabilities, skills and programs to help you to change the economy in your home. This REI is your new job and all you have to do is work it. Work is the key word and believe me when I say I have to work on all of this too as I do not have all the answers. But, we just need to take one step at a time starting with goals for mental, physical, spiritual, financial, career, family and social. The mental is your mindset and your why so get a notebook and notebook paper and start writing these things down for each of the 7 goals. It will make it easier to refer back to and to add to or make updates. Make this a way of life and you will soon find that you have more balance in your life. For the spiritual I recommend the greatest success book ever written "the Holy Bible". Start with the book of Proverbs, then the Psalms and New Testament. Ok, good luck now and take care..
Your guide for brand newbies is very helpful and nicely done. Thanks for taking the time to put it together.
Thanks Diane!
