All About Esteeanna

Name:
Diane
Location:
Sacramento, California
About Me:

I am a Colorado native and baby boomer. At 15 I started working as a car hop at A&W Root beer. From there I went to Mountain Bell as a intercept operator. I later married Ray Cobb a country western entertainer. He had a gig at the Zanza Bar for several years. We once went to Nashville and visited the Grand Ole Opry where I escorted him to center stage which had been cut out and brought over from the old Ryman auditorium. My husband was blind since birth. Some things just don't work out and our union came to an end. I married again and became a mom to his 4 sons. Well that lasted eight years and I found myself on my own again. Anyhow, since 1984 I have been rebuilding my life. I have worked at couple of Title Ins. companies and Ameristar Financial Corp as a loan shipper. Also Glenfed Mortgage in collections. I worked at Hertz a couple of years before going to Sprint where i just retired after 20 years and 2 months. I have always had an interest in geography, land, landscape, real estate and being of service to others. I have considered the future and must continue working to provide a secure future for myself. I am not ready to waste away in a rocking chair and need to keep my mind active and challenged. I have resided in Phoenix,Az., Wichita and Goddard,Ks., Federal Way,Wa., San Diego,Ca and since 1989 Sacramento,Ca. I bought my own home july 2000 and chose to live here for the mediterranean climate. There are many other reasons why I chose Sacramento. My priority going forward is to work on a secure future for myself in Real Estate and also Health and Fitness consulting. It will begin with marketing.

"I personally believe we must take time to protect, cultivate, preserve and care for our thoughts in order to develop character and contribute good in the world we live in".

Glad to have you as a member here on Deans board. We are all like one big family here. We help each other with our RE problems and cheer each other on. I have done lots of cash deals since I started. It is pretty simple once you get the hang of it. Just read everything you can here on the board and ask questions to the members who have been here a while and the one who have done lots of deals. You will learn quickly from them. That is what I did in the beginning is ask lot of questions and read everything.
Also be sure to fill out your profile. Someone who lives close to you may read it and then you may have a real estate partner to do deals with.
All my best to you.

newie

hi there

i am ultra new to real estate investing. i have seen dean's ads on tv over the years but have allowed the jitters of the unknown to overwhelm me. i have finally decided to get his latest book 'your town...' but before i do i have just one question.... is this book a good buy to ultra newbies like me?

real estate investing

The answer is yes. The journey of a 1000 miles starts with the first step. If you are truly interested in real estate then get all of Dean's books and you will receive e-mails from him all the time that are very motivating and encouraging. Put the blinders on to put the fear behind you. Decide what you want to do and train yourself by reading the books and then just do it.

Hello

Diane,
Hello. Your profile shows that you are adaptable, compassionate, and successful. Real estate investing requires adaptability skills in order to change as laws change. Being compassionate, can help find solutions for motivated property owners. Being successful means that we have accomplished something that we set out to do. Each success, no matter how small gives us confidence. The more confidence we have, the better our self image will become. The better our self image becomes, the more likely we are to develop the mindset needed to propel us forward into our "desired" life. To your continued success in real estate investing.
Freedom Seeker,
Anthony
