Buying a Property by a Cemetery?

Buying a Property by a Cemetery?

What do you guys think? Should I or shouldn't I? A short sale property just came up but the only issue is that it is by a cemetery. How will this affect potential assignment to an investor?

Cemetary

Hey I would buy next to a cemetary. You would have nice quiet neighbors who wouldn't bother you. LOL! Money is money even if it is next to a cemetary.

some buyers don't like them

As a Realtor, I have had some buyers who would not buy a property right next to a cemetary. You never know what things bother people.

as long as it isn't pet

as long as it isn't pet cemetery or house built above a native american burial ground sounds good to me

As long as you have your out clause built in, who cares where it is. In my town I know a Supreme Court judge that lives next door to a cemetary. This guy makes big money and could live where he wants. so, to each his own. give it a shot, all you have to sacrifice is your time......Jan

Pet Cemetery Scary Movie!!

6mos ago I called on a listing in L.A. county this was a beautiful house for a little bit of money. I wasnt sure of the area, I knew there was a hospital located there but to my suprise it was directly across from a Cemetery. I had called my Investor friend /Teacher and he said to stay away from this one, move on to the next. So I did last time I checked that listing it was still on the market for 132 days. Just thought I should share!

Keep the Faith, and make it Happen.
