Every single one of us who are doing this were very afraid also! Anyone who tells you that they weren't is not telling you the truth.
Most of us have put up our signs or posted ads and then not answered the phones when they ring. Or we are so afraid to call back. Or we actually throw up out the car door before we get to an appointment. Or just quit, telling ourselves it doesn't work, when the truth is the fear just takes over.
You have to want it stronger than the fear. REALLY, REALLY want it! And almost always, every single step you push through, you shake your silly head and say, "Really? That's all it was? That was nothing!"
I think that is why we always say after the first deal, they just start rolling in easier and easier. It's because you see that it actually is easier than we lead ourselves to believe.
Don't misunderstand though! You still MUST prep and know what Dean teaches you to do. You CANNOT just go out there and wing it! There is a formula. Follow that formula. Over and over. Learn how to do your numbers. This is one of the biggest problems that people have and is one of the UTMOST IMPORTANT steps!
Then just do it and do it and do it until you are doing it!!!

Thanks for posting this thread. I know a lot of people are afraid of something. The best thing to do is to identify your fears and make sure you use your resources to overcome those fears. What I am saying is, you guys are all part of something great here with DG. Use this site to find people to help you or use your coaches in the success academy to guide you. You have a proven system, use it, don't reinvent it. There is so much help around you that it is impossible to fail because of fear. Success is such a addiction for me that it overcomes all my fears. I hope all of you are utilizing the great tools around you, if you not please start doing so.

Honestly speaking, I was fighting fear when I first started...Yup you right about us not answering phone when they right. Yes that me when I first started haha. I don't do that anymore now because I have programmed my mindset to look at real Estate as my business and I have been able to program my mindset and think like a millionaire. When I get those phone calls now, I'm as bold as a lion when I answer them.

I was afraid to make calls especially to the professionals, but I did it scared. Now when I have to call a new type of professional it is not as hard. Talking to homeowners or re agents is a breeze!

It was our thread "FEAR" that you posted this on, thank you for your thoughts they are always welcome.
It is hard for me to talk with people on something im new at, im thinking why would they do this deal with me im new,can they tell. You see all this goes through your thoughts and thats what scares the crap out of us.
Im working on this and im doing it scared,its not going to stop me!!
We all have a learning curve to go through just like a new job,because this is a new job and we will learn and grow for the better because of it.
Its ok to be scared just dont let it paralyze you!

Awesome you started this Karen, oh yea have been afraid, after 3 deals the fear is not as strong but there is fear in other areas like my wife coming back from mexico, have been thinking about that, but she will be back and fear of success I think but am going to go thru the education again & keep listening especially to mindset, oh man fear can be a monster, which we have to slay
