Hey Tammy! I'm great! How have you been. Leaving my job has proven to be my best decision yet! I am still doing financial investing for some clients on the side to get my licenses active but REI is now my bread and butter ;P I love being my own boss and the flexibility . No more missing events with my kids and family members! Sometimes I couldn't believe that I was doing all that I was... It was hard, but I love a good challenge I'm ready to climb to the top! Maybe we can chat again soon and try to partner. Have a good weekend!

Ps. My son is def growing like a weed, he's 2 now! I'll update photo soon...

So far with my new partners/previous co-workers we've locked up 3 properties in less than 2 weeks. Most recent one was locked up for $21,000 with sold comps $200k +/-. We stand to make about $25 k but will split it 3 ways.... My partners found the deal and I got it under contract and will have less than 5 hrs or work in it as people already want it:). I love this market, this career, and the decision a made to leave my JOB!

it does take a lot of courage to make the decision to quit your job and do rei fulltime, but I know that you are destined for success! Always believe in yourself, and that you have the power within you. Listen to your inner voice that is guiding you, it will lead you to the right path. The time that you will be able to spend with your children will be so rewarding! Big congrats to you!!

I am a security guard at an office building for a major bank (the work is demanding for sure) and I just let my License for real estate lapse (who hoo !) and I am very familiar with feeling over worked and feeling like I am missing out on life. So reading this is very refreshing and I am glad things are going well, I will definitely bug you about probates.... May you continue to progress, accomplish and empower your life and those you come in contact with......

I had all the tools, it was time to put them into gear:) The first couple weeks were a little slow, but now I have one previous co-worker that became a close friend wanting me to open an office so she can come work for me and I turned 2 other previous co-workers into partners (one who left a few weeks after I did to also pursue REI full-time). The feeling of being my own boss is so gratifying. Lately I've been wondering why I waited so long. I went and looked at 2 houses with my new partners this week and 5 others on my own. The Indiana market is SMOKING and I'm ready for the taking. Ideally I will get back into flipping, now that I have more free time. Thanks to Dean and his team for all the tips, pointers and help over the years.

You did it the smart way by waiting until you had a strong foundation to go on. Many people quit way too soon and cause themselves so much stress.
