We are kind of out in the sticks and Zillow searches would, more often than not, bring up a different house with a different address, across the street or down the road a piece. (HAHA) Deans new software is the total package. It was correct every time. The information in the report will be extremely helpful in attaining the goals for successful investing.
Tried a couple of properties today and it told me the right info, but showed maps of other properties.

This site/RE tool is terrific. I've only had a moment to "play" with it a tiny bit but plan to really test drive it this weekend. What I've seen I like and am thrilled to know this tool is being made available. Having as much information in one place as possible is awesome. I LOVE being able to just "boom" see the comps in the area. What a time saver!!! I've always loved real estate but never wanted to be a realtor. So glad that I'm being able to fulfill my dreams AND with similar tools that realtors use.

Oh, forgot to mention this. My down the road "wish list" for this would include something I saw in demonstration of REI software that cost several thousands of dollars (it was beautiful but certainly not in my price range at this time. It was being offered by a competitor who several years back I had decided to spend the money on a 2 day seminar and then promptly never did anything with it. I've done more with Dean's books and this site than ever before! But I digress
...
One of the tools they had was a link to Home Depot (but it could be Lowes, or any big box home store found most places). You could click from there onto the Home Depot website and search for paint, flooring, etc., anything you may want to use to renovate the home you are interested in, click on the item you want then it would put the item and price into a form document on your REI website that you could then calculate (or I believe the document was set up to do the calculation for you) how much the renovation/fix-up would cost. It was a quick/easy way to have that information at hand. Something like that would go a long way to make the new tool "one stop shopping" so to speak. So then you are getting the needed information on properties you are interested in purchasing and being able to quickly have a ballpark idea of how much it would cost to fix it up.
I just wanted to throw that idea out there for consideration down the road. I am truly thrilled by what you have now and can't thank you all enough for continuing to help, motivate and provide so well for all of your DG members.
