If you are looking to set up LLC credit, I would advise starting with a small card from Lowes. They report to the 3 major hitters in the credit industry. It is a good way to start building your LLC credit, but make sure you make on time payments or you will destroy what you are trying to do. Just my 2 cents...Jan
Thanks Jan but im not looking to set up a LLC just yet I want to establish some personal credit in the mean time, would you advise the same card?

Doesn't hurt to try. Start with a small credit limit. The key is to make your payments on time (KEY WORD) ON TIME or ahead of time. Make small purchases, only what you can pay for. Give it 6 months then check your credit score. The 3 big hitters report once a quarter. Good luck...Jan
Try Orchardbank.com. They are pretty good for people starting off. They offer secured credit cards, which you are required to make a deposit as collateral. Their rates are a little high, but it is worthwhile (espeecially if you are just building your credit profile).

You can also try First Premier, their rates are high, but they usually lend to anyone with a bad/fair credit score. also try (which i just tried myself) an account now prepaid visa card, its a debit card that allows you to build credit, pay bills online, borrow money, and add money. I haven't actually used it yet, just got it yesterday, so we'll see how it goes. the site is accountnow.com check it out. or try credit cards.com
hope this helps
