My name is Sherry and I live in New Orleans so if yo are from the area and would like to share thoughts, feeback, or ideas please feel free to contact me.
I am interested in really basic bird-dogging and was trying to find some one in the forums that had maybe started out this way. I couldn't find anyone in the journals so I thought I would see if anyone here knew of someone that recorded their journey or had offered a good deal of advice in this particular area.

Carol's information is great. You will also find that the process is simply put down to three basic steps:
- Find buyers
- Find houses (which can include a Realtor)
- Either show your buyers the home or make offers then assign the home.
You can find a lot of information concerning this all over this site. If you work on these three steps in order and DO them you will find success.

The first deals that I ever did were bird dogs. I made $1000 for about 16 hours worth of work. I met the investor through our local REI club and the rest is history 2 1/2 years later. Since then I have teamed up with another DG member Jeremy and we formed Aiden-Cole Properties LLC, did an infomercial with Dean and we even had a chapter written about us in Your Town Your Real Estate Profits, Just goes to show you anything is possible.
