I agree with Jay. I want to say thank you Dean and thanks to your top notch staff. Great event. We will be there next year.

I have been to other guru seminars and the add sates that the guru will be there and they never are there. Here at the Gain the Edge Event Dean is really here. We did speak with Dean face to face and I thank Dean for taking the time to talk with us.

Once again it was an amazing weekend. It will be hard to wait until next year....so yes, Jay we are in for the cruise.

Jay you are completely right! The weekend was amazing and it was more amazing to meet all of the DG family too. The whole weekend was one big aha moment. We are grateful for Dean's staff who made everything run smoothly. It was so nice to meet you Jay, and hope to see you on the cruise!

And spencer......it was a pleasure meeting you and sorry for not being able to chat more.The weekend was FULL of guidance and it was tuff to get to chat with everyone but the cruise will be a whole week of sunshine,tips and networking and we all will be able to chat about rei. Hope you guys will join us ....looking forward to see what you have goin on! !!!

This event was amazing in so many ways. I sat and tried to put my finger on it, but what this event brought out in me, besides this incredible burning fire to put things into fast forward action, was a ME I haven't known for YEARS. I thank you Dean so much for being you, and being so down to earth; and all your staff was marvelous; and everyone that was there, meeting so many of you was something undescribable. My only regret is I didn't get to talk to more of you and I missed the dinners because my hubby wanted to get back because he didn't want to pay the sitter any more money .

I have been lacking in self confidence for so long; and I come here to this site and to see Dean's blogs and read the boards whenever I am feeling down. (There's a reason I have over 4800 points LOL ) I get such a tremendous joy out of helping others, but to physically be around everyone is indescribable.
There is a lot of negativity in my life and it has just DRAGGED me down, but when I was at this event, I walked with my head lifted high and with such an empowered posture; this truly was a first in a long time. Seeing that everyone here is REAL and there is such a genuine aura from Dean, from all the superstars Dean has written about in his books, and from the whole staff was such a boost to my belief in myself and what I'm capable of doing.

It was SO wonderful to meet everyone and to meet people that post on here was an incredible feeling! The second I saw Dean I gave him a huge hug, apologizing because I realize he probably didn't know who I was... but, after hearing my name, he knew exactly who I was!

I want to say that the weekend before, I had just had emergency surgery, but I was determined not to let that keep me from going despite being blown up like a ballon. NOTHING stopped me from going this year, and it won't in successive years either. I will be there in 2012! Better hide the markers from me!

Dean Thank you so much,I read the your signed book Totally Fulfilled, was teary eyed while reading the challenges you have been through,you are great person and happy that you are Blessed.Thank you too Randy,Jay Cathy,Laura,Lorena,Stacie and Ken thanks for letting me hang around and learning from you and for the rest of you whose names I may not have mentioned surely the presence of everyone is uplifting.

I read this book while my hubby drove back from the Grand Canyon yesterday (I'm such a slow reader that I didn't finish it all the way), but WOW, more and more respect for you every day Dean! You have figured out gems in life most people can't figure out in 80-90 years of existence! You are an inspiration to us all. I'm on my way to being TOTALLY FULFILLED! This is a MUST REQUIRED read for ALL of us, investors or not. Previously, I'd only perused through the book and read bits and pieces when I could. I didn't realize it has more impact and meaning in my REI journey than all the REI books put together.

Read it everyone, it WILL change your life! Thank you Dean for writing this book, it is absolutely an incredible read! My life is going to change forever! THANK YOU! *tears*

PS Virgina, it was so wonderful to meet you! I have not gotten home yet (at my cabin in the mountains!) but next week I intend to touch base with everyone I networked with.

I have been saying this for a long time. Totally Fulfilled is a must read for everyone. It should be required to read after joining this site or the academy.
