Spending a lot of time doing my assignments they give me, making a lot of progress. Sometimes its information overload and I just have to take a day off.

I was coming home from Lowes when I passed a house that was being remodeled, as I went by I pulled over and thought I'm going to go back and see if its being done by the home owner or an investor.
I ask if he was the home owner or the contractor doing the work, he said both. We got talking more and he said he buys fixes and sells about 3or4 a year, it takes him a couple months to do the rehab sense he does the work.

I gave him my card and he gave me his, he told me if I could bring him a good deal in about two months he would be happy to do a deal with me. I drove off and had to pull over again, did that really just happen WOW...
Going to get more info later on what he is exactly looking for then this dog is on the hunt.

Another buyer on my list.

Im thinking a little different nowa days, everywhere I go I see potential deals. I notice news papers not being picked up, leaves in front of garage doors (not opening) dirty windows, all the signs of nobody has been there in awhile.
I leave an hr earlier because I know im going to stop at a house on the way, I get addresses run searches on them. I do this everyday, I've been very pleased with the trainers on how they have helped me change my mindset..

We spend time on getting the knowledge but we have to follow through by taking action on what we have learned.

I agree the training is excellent & i hear you on the job it can get in the way. love the looking out for vacant homes, there's one here downtown, well a condo i can see from my buddy's condo that is vacant-gonna check the owners & send a letter plus leave a letter in their door.

Way to go Aaron, the Edge is coming buddy, your going to love it.

Soon the job will be a thought of the past where you will say I remember that 9-5 and I am a full time real estate investor that going back or even thinking about it seemed like what real estate investing was a strange concept like why would you even bother really?

I hope you and Tony And all other DGers pick up speed and craft an exit out of a mundane routine.

The best part about the training for me is its a working blueprint, just go from one step to the next and you will get results.
My daughter and I are not going to be able to get into town till 2pm fri, after checking in and registering its going to be around 3pm. I know the round table is fri hope we don't miss much.

Im looking forward to the edge and getting my daughter into REI.

One step at a time, I'm not going to jump in the deep end of the pool again.
I would like to end the job thing but im going to make sure I have a good foundation first.
I will do an assignment and many more, as I post this I have a buyer wanting a good deal for his sister to live in. With that said this will be my first assignment deal I can smell and taste it, we are working out the details now he wants to work with me.

It must be a full moon lol..Some people are still thinking that there house they have lived in for 20 yrs is worth what it was before our economy and real estate went into the crapper yrs ago, its now on the rise but not back were it was.

I believe you after my initial start into looking at NJ and that person wanting $45,000 more for the house without repairs even though they clearly did nothing with the property (not even repairs) I said yep we definitely have speculative buyers and those newbie R E investors not being properly educated the way Dean and this DG Family help each other......

oh yea some people are in denial, i have been in denial about other things like my vision yrs ago it's just about diff things at times: yea I just move on & say thank you & I wan to follow up with people more see if they have sold their hm yet & maybe I can still snag it.

Im going to keep checking back on them from time to time never know they might come to terms with themselves.
It has to be one step at a time for me my time is limited (job thing) I only get 30 min for lunch so I take that time to read Deans books taking notes on the path I chose, Assignments & L/O. After work is when I get back to the phone and then later at night on here and doing searches, well all the home work we all have to do you know what I mean.

You are right , first comes the homwork,then comes the planning and finally comes action time....

And I know what you mean with time sensitive I work overnights

One thing I have noticed is once you have your "Why" , next is charting the course to gain back time to engage head on into RE Investing remembering that it is also an investment in self

if so ask the boss if you can combine the time into a 1 hr lunch break and you will have more time to get things done....

Im finding time before work and after, I don't watch tv anymore and I plan my days out better. This has given me more time.

My mindset has improved and my results are better.

I love it father daughter team how sweet, prob the greatest thing in the world to be with your fam & be able to invest, nice. Any calls on your signs? I had a tough time here in san diego with signs but I have to be consistent with them, prob gonna buy signs for downtown san diego, sm signs for pedestrian to start back up with them.
