Looking for REI in Buffalo & Rochester,NY

Hey, I live in Brooklyn but I have been looking to invest upstate. There are some great cheap homes up where you are, and in Utica and Rome.

Hi I live in Buffalo and I am currently finishing the first book and Im already excited to start investing so im interested.

I would like to get into investing in rental property, but I have only run into strategies that apply to CA, FL, Vegas, etc. I would like to read and learn about things that will work in Buffalo, NY. Can someone give me some direction as to where I can go to get materials on that. I am looking for ideas for financing and low downpayment ideas

Would love to know if there is a networking group in the Rochester area...would love to attend meetings give and gather ideas...

I have been posting threads on here for almost a year, and have made friends with people all over the USA. Some of you have been on here since 2009 and I haven't see you post or respond on any of the threads. I have posted well over a thousand post here,so what this tells me is none of you are really working at getting going.

ive have two differents accounts with this site, ive lost my passwords a few times so i had to make a new one. for you not to know me or anyone here and say were not taking action is pretty low of you and not even your problem. this site is for postive feedback and family communication, and investor helping investors, i dont think anyone would like to hear your neg. comments! im erolled in deans academy, ordered all his books, been taking action and now im working im my first few deals with the academy so that shows you have no idea what your talking about!!! please dont ruin people motivation to succeed with real estate!! i dont appreciate it!!

I don't think Jim's comments were directed to you. If you look at the people who are asking about the Rochester area you'll see that they've been on dg.com for quite a while and should know Jim by now, or at least read some of his posts and know he's from Rochester.
Personally I can't go through the "what's new" list without tripping over any of his threads lol.

Jim's point was that if you've been here long enough that:
1 - You get to know who the regulars are and
2 - You should know how to use the search function at the top of every page.

And one more HUGE factor:

well in that case im sorry jim, i didnt mean what i said i figured you meant that directly to me i guess your comment isnt negative then, next time ill be more careful on what i say. and thank you mark for stepping up and letting me know what jim really meant. i appologize.. i feel little bit like a fool but its ok lol thanks
