The above is a good resource for finding local clubs. I would also call the contacts in the club you know and ask them if one exists in your area.

I did try the ones that are listed from that site, but have gone away. I will try the Charlotte REI to see if maybe they know of a start up. Thanks for your imput.

So, I checked out the link. Will you experienced DG guys and gals weigh in on paying for a membership to one of these groups? Is is worth $$$? Did you pay? If so, are you willing to share the ballpark amount? peace

My club is $225 a year, probably on the high side. Most will let you come the first time as a guest for free.
Think of it this way, you are going to network and make connections with buyers, real estate agents, re attorneys, stagers, contractors, lenders, etc. This is going to lead to not only building your power team, but DEALS. It's a small investment for big results. Also, clubs offer lots of inexpensive education. Participate as much as you are able. One nugget of information can make an entire workshop wortwhile. You are probably also going to have a chance to stand up and say what you are looking for. Have your 30 second commercial ready to go and DO IT.

Gena I checked out the website and already found one only 20miles from me, only knew of one 45 miles before.
Have spoken with someone already and it is $99 per yr or $15 for each time.
He invited me and a friend for the first one free and we are registered for the next meeting.

Offers a rei club pro where you pay to join the club and it gives you a bunch of benifits. This may work for you if you don't have 1 close to you. I joined that and the local REI club just to get as much info and exposure as I can. But even the free site is a great site and loaded with info
