What Is Slydial?

I heard about a really cool tool last week that anyone can use called slydial. Slydial is a free service that allows you to leave a voice message directly in someone’s voice mailbox without ever speaking to that person. Let’s face it, there are going to be those awkward moments in life that you would rather not have to deal with on a phone call.

For instance…

Did you ever get an irate call from a tenant? If you’re a buy and hold real estate investor, the answer is probably YES! If you are a landlord and it hasn’t happened to you yet, it will at some point. You can count on it!

You may have a situation where the tenant flies into a rage because you sent him a 7 day letter. After all, he already told you he would have the money in a week or two.

Or, after your tenant moves out he gets the bill for the carpet his dog chewed up in your house and he’s angry. It doesn’t matter one bit that it was spelled out in your lease and you discussed it at the move out inspection.

If you’re a busy real estate investor or entrepreneur building your own empire, when you get a call from someone asking you to do something that you just would rather not have to deal with, this is the perfect tool for you.

Slydial is also perfect for those personal situations you would just rather avoid. A great example is when “Aunt Millie” asks you to make a few cakes for the bake sale she is hosting first thing tomorrow morning.

How does it work?

Slydial connects you directly to someone’s mobile voice mail.

You dial 267-SLYDIAL (267-759-3425) from any landline or mobile phone.

At the voice prompt, you enter the U.S. mobile phone number of the person you want to slydial.

You will be connected to their voicemail where you can leave a message. That’s it.

What are some other uses for slydial?

Slydial is a great tool to use when a text message won’t work. For instance when you need to leave detailed information and sending a text message would just take too long.

It’s also very useful if you just need to leave someone information they have requested like a lockbox code when you don’t actually need to speak with them.

When you’re short on time and you just don’t have 30 minutes to listen to the tenant’s rant. You can simply leave him a message detailing how you plan to correct the problem.
