OfflineHello DG Family! My name is Will Clarke, I am a 23 year old senior in college and have started investing in Real Estate. I have been in the Success Academy for 3 or 4 months now and am ready to start making deals. I have been trying to do everything on my own and finally realized that I need an agent to help (when you see people on the site say or read in the books that you need to follow every step, trust that you need to follow every step!). So after three long weeks of searching I finally found the perfect Realtor! He is excited to help me with anything I need, and has done assignments and lease options before. I will be starting out doing assignments at first.
I just want to say that I called at least 10 agents and most of them had no idea what I was talking about when I told them I wanted to do assignments. Then when talking with my 11th agent I hit the jackpot! So if your trying to find a agent that can help with assignments, then keep calling until you do. I used Matt Larson's technique that he described on the last conference call when I called the last agent and it worked!
I also am going to closing on my first deal either this week or next, which will be a deal I bird dogged for another investor!
I haven't done much posting on here before, but look forward to talking with all of you.

Thanks for the good job. Keep on calling those agents and sooner or later you will find one that is willing to work with you and who also knows what you are doing. I find out more and more each day that real estate investing is a numbers game. Keep working the numbers and eventually things will start to happen for you. Good luck!

Did you bring it up when the Realtor asked, "How will you by paying for all these transaction" and you explined what Assigning is then, or did it come up in some other manner?

My Situation is THAT my realtor told me that he can pull anything off the MLS that I need to but he said that he wasn't able to give me the cash buyers that bought and sold houses in the last 6 months? If anyone else has purchased the Edge 2010 Videos do you ever remember on the VIP Video About where they talk about give your realtor the 1 800 MLS Hotline they can call so they can get instructed on how to pull Cash Buyers for An Investor. He didn't he couldn't do it. He just said that he didn't know how. Can Anyone help???

I just ordered Your Town, Your Real Estated Profits last Thursday. It came on Tuesday along with Profit From Real Estate Right Now! I started reading P.F.R.E.R.N. that same night. Later tonight I will be speaking with a potential agent! Hopefully when the conversation is over, I will have a Real Estate Agent!!

I told the agent that I wanted to start out using some creative investing techniques in the beginning, then I asked him if he had ever successfully handled an assignment of contract. He then told me that he had, so I asked him to give me some examples. He was right on the money with is answers so I knew I had somebody special. Hope that helps. Good luck!
