OfflineOK....I posted here about 2 months ago as I was under contract for a Duplex that was a short sale.Well as you know short sales are nothing but LONG waits so I still kept looking on the MLS everyday & about a week ago a house popped up on the MLS right in my own neighborhood & I figured dang it..I missed it cause it was on the MLS for a few days before I saw it as they had lowered the price to $84,900 which is a great price for the area as most are $100,000 & up.Ok..So luckily for me there were 2 comps that sold recently just around the corner from the house I was interested in that sold CHEAP as I'm pretty sure they sold to CASH investers.So I called the listing agent & there were NO OFFERS!! on the house!!No friggin' way!! So after about a week of offers & counter offers from the bank(It's a REO)I finally accepted there counter offer of $80,000!!!AWESOME DEAL!I have worked very hard to paying off my credit cards & saving some money.I only have a part time job but it's good & steady so don't give up cause this took me around a year to do!Something was gonna come my way sooner or later cause I kept looking & looking & LOOKING so yea it payed off big time!!!I felt like giving up so many times & went through about 4 different lenders before I found a couple of good ones!I was lie too & treated pretty badly & I just kept fighting to find the right deal & here it is!I give them the earnest money check tommorow 
!!! Oh it's a 3 bedroom 2 bath house with about 1000 SF with a 1 1/2 car garage!It's even somewhat updated!!

Yea it's nice style & yea it's sort of a ranch style house & has a vaulted ceiling in the front room & kitchen which I really like but the main thing I like is it's only 4 blocks from my parents house in a great neighborhood!!!!LOCATION,LOCATION,LOCATION!I didn't have to settle for mediocre area!!That's the best part!
