2012 goals

and left 2 messages....being patient but waiting to hear if offer is accepted...in the meantime we have put an ad in the local telegram looking for land and we got 2 calls today ...going to look at these tomorrow as it is SNOWING LIKE CRAZY out.i have learned one thing and that is when you get something in your mind ....like a goal...you need to FOCUS and take ACTION ....would be $weeeeeet if this one 2012 goal could be written off BEFORE jan 1 lol or at least in the first week !!!

that's something that I want to do someday too; the only difference is that the lot that I like over here in my area is listed for $210K!! the $20K would be the down payment! It will happen some day-soon!

In the meantime, you'll have to share the pictures of your home construction with me!

wow ....i know my area is alot different and the prices r alot lower with everything.....our offer was denied but we r only off by 5,000 so we will see what happens.....going to keep looking and wait to see if they come back again with another counter...PATIENCE is key as thats how negotiating is.....i like the old saying....first person to mention a # loses....lol

purchased land to build new home on !! its 5.75 acres on top of hill where its high n dry....has a newly built rough lumber camp built on it with porch looking into the woods on the side of hill and small brook 100 ft away !! karen is super pumped to get it and to start getting ready to plan things !!
one goal down ...on to the next !!!

That is so Great Jay, the way you described it , it sounds wonderful.What makes it better is that it is now yours and it was a goal that you already accomplished. Keep it up !!!

thanks,i cant wait to get going on it....alot of snow now so it may be till spring un til we can break ground.will build a garage to hold the material first then the house.i will be building it myself so it may take some time but will be another great journey !!i LOVE the smell of sawdust !!!!and hearing the nailers crackin !!!

Sounds like a great piece of land. I agree with you, I love the smell of sawdust and hearing "construction noises". Hope to be doing that myself one day soon.

Yes I am excited to build again!! We walked it 10 times before finally getting....feels like home ALREADY!!

congratulations on your video !!!!! and yes it is always a CHALLENGE to buid and work together on building a house but wow what an accomplishment when u work together to see the finished product !! finally broke ground to clear topsoil at building site and ran into some big rocks !!! am looking feverishly for a GREAT deal on an excavator because i will use it on the entire project.have been looking and trying out for two weeks in between traveling for work !! cant wait to find and negotiate that deal on one so i can get moving.ordered and recieved the plans for the house !!!! wooo hooo getting excited !!!
