Find the Owner

I sent a letter to a property owner and it was returned by the post office, so the public information was not current.

What sites is everyone using to find owner mailing addresses?

Finding Owners

Other that using a "skip tracer" the county sites are pretty accurate because it is their tax base which should have been updated in November.

I also found talking to neighbors to see if they have any info, especially when you explain to them what you are doing.

You can also seek them out on www.spokeo.com and see what comes up. Great site for finding people.

Yeah..I tried the county site, but the mail was returned, so they had the wrong information. I was looking for alternate resources.

Finding the owner

Driving around I notice vacent homes,what is the best way to find the owner of that property,are there multiple ways to find this.

Hey, Try www.zabasearch.com it is really good, also about 60-70% of the time , you get a phone number also, plus its FREE !!!

Go to your county website, and just type in the address in the appropriate place and it should then bring up the owners name and mailing address.

looking up addresses

Check your county's sites:
- Property Tax site
- County GIS maps If available, some counties have tons of info while others very little.

Check the owner's first & last name with city & state on whitepages.com. Click on their name in the search results for more info. If the address is the same as the returned mail one, you can try to call a relative and get info.
