Who say that you can't do it?

I just want to say that God is good and that he placed Dean in this position in order to represent people like us. I am so fortunate to have this opportunity with Dean.

I say that because I had Dean's book for a year now (Be a Real Estate Millionaire) and I have been studying on my own, privately ofcourse. My husband wasn't too fond of the idea but that did not stop me. For him not to be right I had to do a thorough investigation myself about Dean's program and pull out all the negatives and positives. I wanted to make sure I can do things legally and right.

Well today I am well passed that. I've pulled every detailed information I can find. Let's review what was happening to me while doing Dean's program on the side. I had my daughter when I got "Be a Real Estate Millionaire" and we had just moved to a new apartment. I didn't even have any money to get his book nor was my husband going to buy it for me, because he was already against it. So a friend of mine ended up buying it for me just as a way of saying thank you for all I've done for him. I was so grateful. I told him he wouldn't regret this. And let's just I was right. For $39.95 I got a lot of information. I literally played the audio over and over, and I read the book from front to back. If you were to look in the book you will see all the highlights and comments that I scribbled all over. Anycase, I was enrolled in school during that time taking Biology and now after applying a number of times I have finally made it into the nursing program as a full time student. And let me tell you it is challenging. They intentionally try to make you quit. On top of all this, I am pregnant with my second child. And when Dean's third book came I jumped and ordered it right away. Okay, briefly about the nursing program, you cannot make any excuses because it will lead you to getting kicked out. So every day I wake up and drag myself to school no matter how sick I was. I'm talking morning sicknesses and waking up at 5am to get to school on time. I've managed to never be late nor absent within that semester (4-months) Thankfully, God got me through it and I passed with the B-average they expect from me, and now I await for fall semester (August 09). I only have two semesters left and I am currently 7-months pregnant. So which mean when school starts I will be on my way to giving birth in the beginning of my semester. Two absences in the nursing program is an automatic failure in the program and you would have to start all over again! No way! But here I am guys, I am going in faith and just hoping that everything will just work out. My husband wants me to put my full focus on school and forget about trying to learn something on the side because it can distract me. Well its summer time and I am on break and I want to continue to make this real estate investment a reality not a "what if".

This summer has been the most productive one ever. I've started posting ads on craigslist and building my buyers and sellers list. I've entered a lot of free trial foreclosure listings, and I have found my agent, by accident. I went to queens with my husband because we are looking to buy a house and down there the houses are much cheaper than in Brooklyn. Anycase we met with his agent and started hunting for potential properties that fit us.

Oh, I forgot to mention that while looking at these properties we have no idea how we are going to get a loan because we are in so much debt and things looks even worse after our car got repossessed last year.

Okay so I never said anything our whole ride through exploring all the potential properties we were interested in. Finally, I heard the agent talking about investment and my husband quickly said that I was the one into that. The agent then got so excited that all he kept talking about is having me work with him. To make a long story short, he started finding houses for my investors and now I get so much calls from other people helping me find houses that I can't keep track and I have three investors on my list! How exciting is that. Its so great. I feel so enormously blessed. I believe that we went over there particularly for me because we ended up not buying any house but I ended up finding my agent. It was all in God's plan. To top the cake my husband gave me his full blessings to going ahead and doing this real estate business. One reason was because he was so impressed by how much I've learned and two because of how much money I can make...lol. I know he was never trying to keep me from doing achieving my dreams but he did not want me to get scammed, he just is a typical American that believes in a 9-5pm job and being stable. Although he is a Nurse himself making a pretty good salary for the both of us, we are still in debt and stuck in a life that only stays in a flat line. I want better for me and my family.

Nonetheless, I am very happy. Even though one deal didn't go through between my agent and investor, I'm okay with that because it got close enough to closing for me and the benefit is I learned something new. I am yet still learning. This could have been my first deal but I know I have many, many more coming my way as we speak.

I want everyone to know that you can do it too. When I write again it will be about my first deal. Don't let anyone hold you down. Go after your dreams! No one and nothing can stop you. Love you all.
