I'm a freshman in college right now, without a declared major. I switched out of vocal performance, (I love singing, but it's not a career path I'm interested in,) and will likely declare computer science as my major in Fall 2009. I came from a fairly poor background; at one point I was living in my church's parking lot in a trailer with no running water. I knew that wasn't the life for me and decided, in the future, I would be well off. I had to be. Then, a couple months into my second semester of college I finally made the decision. I am going to be rich. Then I had the bright idea to actually read Dean's book, Be A Real Estate Millionaire, which I had purchased 3 months prior. I'm trying to get started, but being a college student with not enough time to work, I have a negative monthly cash flow. I'm hoping all of this will change soon. My first goals are to pay off all of my debts, (which are not substantial,) pay off my mom's debt, ($80,000) and my grandparent's mortgage, ($120,000.) Depending on when you read this, I may have already sold my computer, (a huge part of my life,) to get the money to get started.

GO SoCal!! :-)
Hey there James!
Hows it going? My names Andre and I just wanted to extend my courteousy by introducing myself, and its a pleasure meeting a new friend from Dean's website...especially someone who is also from SoCal like me! So what part of SoCal are you from? I gotta say James, your brief description about yourself....was really deep and some of the best inspirational stuff I've ever read! And I heay ya brother, as a college student myself right now, it can be really hard at times to stay on track and keep the focus strong. And I too have bought both his books awhile back now...Be a Real Estate Millionaire last January and Profit from Real Estate Right Now last March. Unfortunately, even though I finished the 1st one in May, I'm almost done with the 2nd one and then its off to the success academy, which I'm super thrilled about. Another unfortunate thing for me, is that I wasn't able to obtain my copy of Dean's Edge home course program, but....as a Christian believer myself, I definitely know my hope and faith is still alive. And that "window of opportunity" that Dean mentions a lot, well....I think I'm gonna be seeing more goals and dreams come to pass than I ever imagined! And that goes for you too, so keep the faith up and you'll succeed for sure! Well anyways, I hope we can stay in touch, keep each other fired up and motivated, and stay strong friends under the same family of DG. Take care and God Bless!
