Hi Martin, I am fairly new at this and I just checked my inbox and got your message. Thanks for the response. I wasn't sure what they meant by its getting "tricky" in PA. I have read some posts of people in other states stating that assigning is illegal in some states, for example Texas. I was trying to find if it is still legal in the state of PA. I am in Hanover, PA and have not done any deals yet. How long have you been an REI?
Joe
Welcome to the DG website community. The DG website is packed with great information and inspiration. I just wanted to stop by your guestbook and wish you good luck with real estate investing. Thanks for the welcome and support. I like the advice you gave to "lakeside" under the "property management fees" post. I have checked my local phone book and found a couple management co. that I am going to check out. There doesn't seem to be any local REI clubs that I have found, but I want to start working on building a network of people (agents etc.) and see if they know of any local clubs.
I read several of your posts and watched the little video clip with Dean. You provide some good info that I am sure benefits alot members on the DG site.
Thanks again for the post and keep up the good work. Through my journey of REI I may throw a question at you now and than if you don't mind? Hopefully in time I will beable to give advice to help others as well.

Are you in PA?
I saw you asked a question to someone else in PA about "assigning" and how it is getting tricky. I think that was about how we may have to pay a transfer tax , even if you are only assigning the contract.
I am in Allentown, PA and I have some experience with no deal yet. You can contact me at cortesm80@**** if interested. Thanks!
