We had no REI experience before seeing Dean's commercial...now we eat, breath and sleep REI. I still work full time in the insurance and financial services industry, but my husband lost his job of 18 years, 9 months ago...and being in his 50's looking for a new job is challenging, despite his 35 years experience and excellent reputation. REI is our way of reinventing ourselves and not be dependent on finding that next job.
