This is my first blog ever, and I'm not exactly sure what happens with a blog, but here I go...This is at DG's home website and I wanted to thank him for the inspiration and determination he has sent me. I needed a new path w/ my career, I'm 42 and too tired to mow yards anymore. I've heard from several older and wiser people that life really begins at 40. I'm not too old to start a new career. Also, thanks to good advice from Dean and others: use all your resources. Now instead of mowing my customers yards, I look for properties for them they can invest in. I haven't made my 1st investment yet, I've been in this for 2weeks.

Dean you are right on with the weekly wisdom. I am depressed because I just finished my mentorship progam for three days and I ended up becomiming more confused and disappointed than when I started. I have information overload right now. I have hit the proverbial wall so to say and I'm strugling to overcome my feelings of not getting anything done and no experience to accomplish this. It's very hard to deal with knowing that I should be out there making offers on properties. every day that goes by is a missed oportunity. Yet I don't have the experience to make the appraisal on these properties to be be able to offer them to one of my buyers. We here in Florida are in between a speculative market and a buy fix and sell market.
