EVERYDAY BRINGS ME CLOSER

Everyday brings me closer to my first deal. In the beginning I was so petrified. Now I have a realtor helping me. He is an investor friendly. my title co. and credit repair people are in place. I am going to have my first before Christmas. I have about 27 days to do it so I am busy almost everynight until 2-3am and get about 3 hours sleep then it's out crusing thte neighborhoods, mls's, and craigs' list. then I bone up on the current strategy I am using. Birdogging for now. I am using this strategy to get some money to start investing myself. Happy holidays

Hoping for Christmas Miracle

I sure love all the successful stories, energy and encouragement I've been hearing and reading about.

I attended the Buying Summit in Vegas and afterward's spent thanksgiving with family who lives in Vegas.
I did start out investing in tax lien and notes. I could not even get a discounted rental property at the Summit. I was really bummed, but grateful for the two transactions I mustered and scraped up.

While it was all beautiful and wonderful, the reality can sometimes be challenging if not downright impossible.

I started this journey that one day introduction to DG's making money in real estate September 21-23, 2012 in NW suburbs of Chicagoland area.

There are days when I feel like - checking my sanity or insanity for jumping into something I have no idea what I'm doing.

Seems like we in Canada are unable to buy your courses or certain books. The site only has information for ordering in the USA. Please enlighten me here. Is there a site for Canadians to order? Please let me know. I also would like to put a challenge out to you to come to Newfoundland to put your strategies to the test in our market.

Okay, I m glad it didnt take that long to find a place to live. But, it did cost me to get everything that involves with moving in a new and own place. Again, I had to pause my REI to focus on moving to my new place. Also, I am low on funds. I had to put a pause working with my agent on the 25:1 method because here in Texas, The escrow amount must be deposited immediatly upon approval of offer has been occured. State law. The bottom line. I need to save up for the escrow amount. I will need to try to find a deal by joining a REI club. BUt, I also need to save funds for this cause they charge a 100 dollar yrly fee. So as you can see, this are obsticles and delays for me on getting my first deal.

Bandit Signs Really Work!!!!

I knew I had to put them out. But boy was I skeptical about whether or not they would produce any results. You see I suffer from my own mental blocks. I had myself believing that I was a victim of my geography. I live in CT, within an hour drive of New York City and believed that I live among a very cynical population. Therefore I would be doing all my investing long distance. Turns out it was just Me being cynical.

As I made up my signs exactly as I shown by the presenters at My "Boots On The Ground" training (Jeff, Blake, and Eric) I believed I was participating in an exercise of futility. I spent last Saturday morning hammering in 12 signs in my area and wasn't really surprised when no one called Saturday, then Sunday. But something funny happened on Monday. I got a call!
