It is great to spend a week here at home in Rock Island, IL. Had a great "Boots" event with Greg Murphy last week in Oklahoma City, OK.

Met with one of you in OKC Saturday night and had a great evening, talking about real Estate Investing.

Next week, Linda and I will be teaching a "Boots" event in Sacramento, Calif June 28-30. If any of you are from that area and want to get together after class one night let me know.

Ok, closed on another bank property. Currently finishing up the rehab on the one we bought last month and starting on the one we just closed. Got an offer and closing on the sale this Friday on our Lakefront property and we are also closing on the purchase of out first short sale on Thursday woohoo- something new! We will hold this one as a rental. it is summer time so we like to have some fun too. We need to find another lakefront property as we have had 6 or 7 on this lake. We will update more later.

Today my blog will be about how I am still patiently waiting for my supplies. The good news is that I have received the email conf that my postcards, business cards & magnets have been shipped! YYYaaYYY!!!

The Bandit signs are still processing :0( BuMMeR!...
But thats ok... As I am out on a daily basis, I am constantly l@@ing for the best spots to put the signs.

I am becoming more aware of certain things, like I wouldnt put one on a corner or wherever where the grass is overgrown... chances of someone coming by to mow the lawn are high & would be a waste of time & money...

So my nugget for the day is pay attention to the lawn/grass where you may be putting out your signs.

Today I finally gained access to this site and wow awesome info! Real estate has always interested me yet I've always had a bit of trepidation in moving forward.

Thanks to the buying summit, I am less afraid of moving forward in my real estate ventures. I've searched online for several properties, talked to some real estate agents, made one online bid, and I continue to move forward.

Here are my first few action items:

-visit a REI group
-build buyer/investor list

Well, I have finished reading 30 days to RE cash.. I've read it 3x to bhe exact. It has postits sticking out from every angle.. LOL .. Folded pages, notes written through out...

Taking a deep breath in .. I have ordered my business cards, postcards, car magnets & bandit signs. Waiting on the delivery. I have created a website w a personal mail address. Even got a google phone #.

I have my markers all ready, I have ink for the printer, I just need postage stamps, I have my list of cash buyers that I will be sending post cards to. I'm still deciding on an agent.

I am having an aray of feelings..., anxious, excited, happy, scared, overwhelmed, but over all, I feel great!

Anyone with any input...please...please do tell!
