Today is July 1st, 2014. I am starting my Journal and keeping track of all my accomplishments and screw-ups. This way I will know what I need to do to make Real Estate work. I know in my heart that is does and can work and I just want to show that I can do it too.

So this is the beginning of my life as a Real Estate Investor.

Day #1 of my 30 day journey...a Running Journal...

I downloaded Dean's book and read it. Since I'm low on cash and my debt is through the roof, I'll be running this program step by step as written. Here's what I have accomplished thus far...

1 - My Why: I never want to worry about money again and my wife said this would never go anywhere. If someone says it can't be done, I'm the first one to step up to prove that it can. I have confidence this will work if I continue to take action.

HERE'S WHATS GREAT ABOUT BEING PART OF SOMETHING BIGGER THAN MYSELF...

Good morning, DG familia!! Here's what's been going on in my life that revolves around my dream to be successful in REI:

*My husband and I have established our own corporation (yay!!)

*We are searching for an investor friendly bank to open up the business accounts with. (We could use some guidance when picking a bank...any recommendations?)

*We have found a company that can help us with our self-directed IRA. (NEED TO HAVE A BANK ACCOUNT SET UP, FIRST)

*Purchased our domain name (www.bettybuyshomescash.com...still need to build a website, though)

*Ordered business cards with bird-dog referral info in the back from online check printers

*Set up partnership with local real estate agent

*found one end buyer...need to find a million more (lol...but seriously)

Possible first Deal!

Was hoping someone could tell me how I keep my buyer and realtor from hooking up if I got deal from realtor, who's always looking for cash buyers.

My realtor just sent me 2 great deals, 1 is an estate deal ARV 375-400 he said could be purchased for 260,000,
with very little repairs. The other ARV 375, and purchase price 261,000 also little repairs. I want to jump on them to wholesale to my buyer who keeps calling me for properties but, not sure how to keep buyer and my realtor from hooking up with each other and doing away with me.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am struggling to find a realtor that will work with me. I found one that charge 1,300 every 3 months. I just wanted a listing to find properties myself. I guess I have to stay at it and keep looking. Feeling a little discourage.

The REI Destiny Came to Me First Before I Made my Move.

My very first business cards order of 10,000 have not been arrived yet; I just placed them about five days ago with the couple of car magnets.
It was last year in the month of February when I went to the one of Dean's post card invitation informational meeting for the first time. I have been reading his books and tried to digest all the information that I get from Edge home courses as well as this website until today. It took me almost 1.5 years to take action; ordering business cards.
