Are you emotionally driven? Most people are. We let our emotions drive our actions. Your emotions can be powerful motivators or they can cause destructive lack of action.

I agree with your comment that emotions can be used as a motivator to reach ones goals and I will work harder to complete assignments and make first deal.

WOW, I can't wait to get the book and read it! My husband & I attended the Edge Event and loved it.
I have watched many of the Weekly Wisdom's, and have read many of the posts; but never got to post. What a great bribe, this made me take the time to post.
What a great way to explain emotional & logical decisions. This shows how you just need to pull the trigger. We are going to pull the trigger, and get on this crazy ride.

Hi Dean:

After completing the Boots on the ground last weekend in Brookfield Wi. Laura and I wanted to thank you personally for the great staff that you have, especially Jeff Jensen's presentation. We have many members in place for our power team and a couple of investors. We have joined many online reality clubs and are aggressively looking for home buyers in the Madison,Wi. area. Currently we have two months to find a home to either purchase or we were looking at a lease option. It seems that many home sellers are looking at full sales rather than lease options. However if we have to rent again we will until we can improve our credit scores (report). We will keep in touch and enjoy the motivational videos.

I have learn through my 20s and especially my 30s that one's emotions can be very powerful. It can either make you, break you, build you up, tear you down, push you over a cliff, make you climb mountains, propel you, crush you, or make you do things you normally you would not do otherwise. Emotions will always be a part of us but how we channel it and use it towards the positive is where great things happen. It took me over 10yrs to learn to control my emotions and I still have instances where my emotions have flared and I become irrational but as I get older, I continue to learn and put things in perspective. I am still learning to filter different emotional events so that only the positive lights my path; and be that yellow brick road to success. I am continuing to channel my emotions to keep me motivated to succeed in real estate and in life. Thank you Dean for keeping things real and not being afraid to touch on the most sensitive things we all face. Thanks to you and all the DG members for keeping me motivated. Your positive reinforcements have allowed me to ignore all the negative and narrow-minded people I face every day. Because of you, I am able to continue forward.

Thank you for the fantastic weekly blogs, especially today's blog. This is a turning point for me. I've been distracted with trying to make money from many different ventures and nothing has panned out. I need to commit 100% to your program and Take Action. I've let fear keep me from trying real estate. But I love the field and I must try. I'll never forgive myself if I don't. Thank you for your passion, wisdom, and inspiration!
I am going to see you in Carson City, NV on 21 June. I'm bringing my best friend as I would love to partner up with her in real estate - we'd be a heckavu team!
