Dean Graziosi Weekly Wisdom #187 - Find Your Talisman

Okay before you start thinking Dean has gone off the deep end, he is NOT referring to a talisman as a mystical or magical object. Instead, he's tying in the big "WHY" from last week's exercise, with anything that produces a remarkable or powerful influence on your feelings or actions. In this Weekly Wisdom, he shares about two objects he keeps close to his heart. They remind him of his BIG WHY when times get tough. This is a great practical suggestion you too can implement today.

AS always thanks Dean for the Weekly Wisdom.
Keeping something visual that constantly reminds you of your Why will help you to keep your focus and not listen to naysayers.
GOD Bless you & your beautiful family.

I can relate to what your grandma taught and what she instilled in you.

For me, it was my grandfather Willie. He always seemed to know when something was bothering me and he taught me how to relax and let them go by sticking this bamboo fishing rod in my hand and having me sit by an old rivers edge. It didn't matter if we caught anything. Just the mear fact of sitting by the running water, all unpleasant thoughts seemed to vanish.

To this day, whenever something is bothering or troubling me, I still sit by the ocean or stream with a fishing rod in my hand. Lately, I've been doing this more often than ever. However, I am always at PEACE with myself come days end and I'm a more pleasant person around others.

Thanks again Dean. This came to me on the day before Fathers day when I can sit back and reflect on all the wonderful times I spent with my Grandfather and my DAD.

HAPPY FATHERS DAY to you.

Weekly Wisdom #187

Hi Dean,

Your wisdom today really means a lot to me but what touched me the most is the part about when your grandma talked about finding solutions. I always say the same thing to my children. About a month or so ago(it was a Tuesady), I had to pick up my son from school. I came from school myself and drove to pick him up because when he woke up that morning, he said he was feeling a bit tired. He had to play sports that afternoon. That's why I drove to pick him up. (I usually walk to pick him up). I was a bit early so I was listening to gospel music in the car. When his school bell rang, I rushed out of the car. Well, I locked the keys in the car. I usually wear a jacket and put the extra car keys in there. That day, I had no jacket. We had to end up walking home. Luckily, I have a key outside. When I opened the first door, went down the stairs, the other door was locked. I usually keep a spare key in the laundry room outside of the apartment. That day, I took it with me because the mail key is also on it, so I wanted to drive home, pick up the mail, then cook and eat quickly, so my son could relax before going to his game. I had to find a solution. I used the outside key to open the second door - I had to think like a thief. It worked! I got the door opened without breaking it or breaking the lock, etc.. My son was amazed and said that that is why he loves me as his mom. I always find solutions, no matter what. The spare key was in a jacket and I took it and we had to walk back to his school, then drive home. Problem-solvers like me and your grandma often go places in life. All we need is a bit of cash - not too much. Just enough for us to pay all the bills and invest in something that will grant us a good return. That's why I need to get my 'B' licence in order to get a job driving either Milton Transit or the school bus and with the extra cash, I will save up to attend your academy, and to do the things I need to do to be really successful. I may get a job as early as August or September this year. It's almost two years since I came to Milton. Things are looking up but a bit slowly. Then I will be able to do more and buy more and really set up my life to win all the time.

Have a nice day,
Annis

Thank you for everything and whatever it is you are going through it will work out! Just stay positive as you always do! I believe what doesn't kill me makes me even stronger! And believe me, I AM STRONG! Peace and God Bless!

I got it on my finger. Mom is gone now 23 years. I wear it all the time now. She was full of one liner wisdoms which I find myself quoting often. I may some day write a book filled with her words of wisdom. I was young and defiant for a period. Even tho she's gone I am gonna go on with this and make her proud of her daughter and the love and guidance she was always able to relay. Thanks Mom. Thanks Dean. I am gonna build my buyers list this week. Got an agent and a construction crew. Maxed in CC Debt so buyers here I am and fired up. (: Karen Lambert
