Dean Graziosi Weekly Wisdom #209 - Use Action and Hope to Trump Tragedy and Regret

This Weekly Wisdom is pretty intense. You'll hear about what the DG Family is doing for the victims of Hurricane Sandy, but Dean also has a true story of how he almost lost his stepfather just days before this was filmed.

You'll hear how a freak medical emergency that almost proved to be fatal, resulted in a conversation that was so profound, we all need to pay attention to it.

Life can be tragic, we all do things we may regret, but there is something you can do right now...today, to emerge victorious and hopeful. Call it "uncommon wisdom."

My deepest sympathy in the loss of your father. Its not easy when a loved one is removed from this realm. Just remember all the happy moments that you have and maybe write them down as you remember them. Then on a day when the memory has slipped your mind you can read about them and refresh. Take care of yourself.

Relationships

Dean: Thank you for your comments. Truly the ONLY eternal things in life are Relationships. Everything else is much less value and does not last. You may think about giving to the Salvation Army. Their overhead is very low so most of the money is given out.

Thank you Dean

First off Dean I hope and pray that your step Dad is doing well.
Thank you for all that you are doing for the East cost.

Thanks Dean for keeping it real. Reminding us that there is more to life than just making money in REI. We all need to give back and take care of loved ones.

Thanks for all that you do Dean

God Bless

Steve and Veronica.

Wow Dean

I hope that your stepdad has a speedy recovery. You have stated before that "if you can write a check for a problem/issue, then it is no longer a problem". Because you took action and secured your lifestyle/future, when the doctors were looking for payment to cover the emergency procedure you was able to take care of that with a credit card..problem solved.

By taking action with the tools and information that you have provided success is not impossible, it is inevitable. Living life to the fullest without regrets. Thank you Dean.

Hi! Dean am so sorry about your stepdad, but am glad you get a positive impact from it to share with the world. We don't want to live in regret,we will make that financial change.rel estate is the best place to start, your team did a good job here in Canada at John Bradley convention Centre. (Good job Dean)
To all the families that are affected by sandy, be strong you are purposely built and uniquely designed for success, you are a steward of great wealth in all things you being made more than conqueror, you will rise greater than before. Be strong.

Finally got some help so i

Finally got some help so i can log in, been a while asking. That's a sad story, mine was other way around for me i spent 30 days in ICU and don't remember too much at all except 1 that really touched me till this day was my brother holding my hand and him saying that "i love you". We werent that close but after we both make attempts to call each other after that.

Prayers and More Prayers

Dean so sorry to hear about your stepfather, my paryers are with you. I do have'th to admit that my realationship with my step mom is distant, she as never been close with all of my sisters and brothers. maybe I will take the time before the year is over to talk to her. Love, Life, and Widsom and learning to love one another is precious, and we must learn to forgive. This is what I have learn about Real Estate investing. Information is not transformation and if you do not do the work it will not work;) Do not want to regret I let this opportunity pass me by.

weeky wisdom video - trajedy

Yes, i can relate, at times, some near death experience can get you to think of the things you should have not taken for granted. Thats one reason i call my mom & my 109 year old grand mom, at least monthly. I also take action on all my challenges that i face. If that time ever come, i want regret. Another big action i take, each week, i give my grand kids a few hours of my time. Absolutely, i definitely can relate.

Thanks for this Dean..... this really hit home as I recently lost my father just this past September and I'm so thankful that I don't have any regrets with regards to my relationship with my Father!! I know he is so proud of me and was really praying that my RE Biz would take off, and I know that he is still supporting me 100% still. I owe so much of who I am and my successes in life to my Father and I want him to know that I will NOT have regrets and to go for everything that I dream of.

I'm glad to be a part of this community Dean, thanks and I look forward to meeting you! I know you don't know me NOW but I'm determined to make this a success and to meet the person that truly helped me get there!! Thanks Dean

I'm still working on getting thru my "No's" - I know my "YES" is right around the corner!

For some reason I got caught up with life and didn't stay in tune with your weekly blog so I missed the last few weeks and also don't know why I did not receive your weekly blog for few weeks and of course just last week I thought to myself, hey I have not receive the weekly blog. Well I am sorry I missed the post regarding hurricane sandy victims. Thank you so much for you generous donations to them.

This gives me more reasons to succeed. Thank you and God Bless You!

So Close to Home

Firstly Dean, you, your family and your step dad are in my thoughts and prayers. Secondly, your daily wisdom hit me, as over the weekend, I was thinking about a few things I was regretting not having done. My mother had a stroke a year ago and she is 8 1/2 hours away from me. I have had a hard time getting down to see her because of lack of time. I really appreciate your insight as to do what you need to now so you don't really regret it later. I am going to find the time to get there to see her- my brother said she seems to be declining. I will also soul search and try to figure out any other regrets. I think it is wonderful how you are helping those who were so terribly devastated by Sandy.
Thank you Dean, as always, you are a positive inspiration-

My prayers go out to you and your family. And especially to your stepfather. God will bless you for what you do for all of us in your DG family.
Your rite about people forgetting about the victims after the media quits reporting. We have that problem here after the fires. But the community here is strong. We are survivors.
What you are doing for the people on the north east coast is to be commended.

Amazing Insight!!

Thank you again Dean for your insights. I will be working on this all week.

Thank you again!!
Courtney

I didn't get to see it yet, it won't play right now.

May our Lord Bless and comfort those people who had to endure Sandy, and the outcome of the distruction. Not only in their lives but also in the communties over there. I send healing and comforting thoughts, prayers, and loving energy their way.

Please DG family send me prayers. Not only does my husband shoot me for having my real estate dreams, and doesn't want me to go to the Real Estate meeting tomorrow but today he threw me out. I know we are not equally yoked and it kills me. It's like a dark cloud hooving over me when I am at home. Maybe like walking on egg shells. Yes, I know that what ever life throws at me I shall overcome. This too shall pass. I am just trusting in my Lord to carry me threw, and lead me to a better place where I really can be loved like I deserve and shine my light. For if the light is rejected so it shall leave, it needs to be shared with many, not confined and covered; Not locked up in a black box. I am being guided to take a leep of faith and just go! I have blind faith in my God. I know God would want me to have my real estate dreams come true, not only for me but for many. I intend to help many and do my part in this world for as much as I can with it.

Dean, I am so sorry for your stepdads situation. God is with you all, I send loving healing prayers your way.
God Bless,
Nancyd

Heartfelt message

I'm new at this so I'll be brief. I am amazingly impressed to have come on to this post site for the first time and read a message like this. Dean, you, your family, & the whole DG family are a blessing to all those you reach whether it be thru your real estate teachings or by the help you give to those in need. You & the DG family have more "Heart" than can be measured in all of your lifetimes combined!!! My little Girl & I will keep your "Dad" in our prayers. God Bless you all!

Relief

I am grateful to Dean for all of his help with the relief efforts and knowing this post is going to a good cause. User tw53 brought this to my attention and she is one that has been affected by the storm. So prayers go out to all of you still without power and hope all is restored to normal soon.

Your family

Dean. My thoughts and prayers go out to your stepfather, you and your family for his speedy recovery. Knowing that there are many others out there sending healing thoughts your way I like to feel in someway it helps you.

Warm wishes,
