Dean Graziosi Weekly Wisdom #236 - On Location In Carlsbad

This week Dean has recorded his blog from Carlsbad, California while on a family trip to visit Legoland and watch Monster Trucks. He uses this experience to reflect on how grateful he is for what real estate has allowed him to do and what the ultimate fruits of are for him and so many others - freedom.

Also, if you missed the LiveCast, please take some time to watch it. There are some amazing clips from EDGE 2013 mixed in that are a "must see" if you did not experience it this year.

Lego Land

Hi Dean 5-20-13

Myself my wife and my two youngest boys ( 8 and 9 years old) just went to Legoland two weeks ago.
It was a Great place we also stay in the legoland hotel. While we were there I bought a House and sold it the same day thanks to the internet.

Spending time with family

This is a fantastic in inspiration, Dean. Spending time with family is always a great idea. I recently heard someone say that it is better to buy experiences than to buy "things." Experiences are remembered. I think, instinctively we all know this, but to have this put into these simple words. Each of your children can special time with you and their memories will be there forever. The time, the memories, the special quality of your relationship with each of them is forever forged. Thanks for sharing these special times with all of us.

THAT! I WANT THAT LIFE! THAT FREEDOM!
Okay, back to work - bandit signs, finding deals, making offers.

Thanx Dean for all your education

I am soooo grateful that you are willing to do these videos year after year, week after week for us. You have so much passion for everyone to get this, that you talk to us even on your vacations. There is NO other out there that even comes close to you Mr. D. I don't know how to thank you for that.

I have yet to do a deal and I have read every one of your posts, training material, books, two years of Edge events, and after listening to Carol Stinson about fear and Jen Gray I know this 2013 has to be the NO fear year for me.

Again Dean, Thank you so very much !!!

Thank you

You always have an encouraging word for your students and its a blessing to be a part of the DG family.

Legoland

This is what I am working so hard for. I know that one day in the near future, I will have this kind of day with my kids. Even though 2 of them are grown and out of the house, I still want to be able to do this with them. Sharing those moments with your family are priceless. Thanks Dean for all you are doing to help us all make this possible.

but hey, is there mother and daughter trip? You both can likely use the time off & away. I find I get really exhausted and wonder if I can manage the issues that arose from a prior accident, a job I REALLY want to leave while getting the rentals runnning smoothly-soon I hope!, while still learmimg to be a more productive time manager so the income from r.e. can increase to the point where I can cut the job loose. Then I get excited and remember why I got involved again, to be in charge of my own time with financial security. Alas, no children due to a bad incident when I was young. I keep putting one foot in front of the other, know there are many of us striving and resolve I will get there! Happy Memorial Day Weekend and a big thank you to all of the service personnel that paved a way for our country to allow its' citizens freedom in life. All the best to all! Meeting Doc H in the morning for our 1 on 1. Good night

Hi...I joined your IE via the wonderful lite memebership you offered late March. My initial payment was made at that time. How do I make future payments? Thanks!

Living your true Purpose

Dean,

You could not have stated it better. We all need to live our "true purpose" and be happy in this life; of course there are hard times, and difficult tasks. However, do not waste your life being miserable at doing something that will wear you down, and harden your heart in the process.

Thank you for your words, works, and powerful inspiration. Have a Great time with your son -- they grow so fast.

Still Working On The Dream

Sunday got a chance to see this video, and continue to work on the dream. Referral of a friend who want to get into R.E. Investing. Hope she see this video.

Wonderful!!

Hey Dean,
First of all, its great that you think so much of those who you have taken on the responsibility to encourage in real estate, secondly, its the truth that having money and the freedom to do the little things like what you are doing with your son to experience the good in life is what every kid should experience. Bless you and your family.

Vacation

JewelsTexas's picture

While I was just on the DG site for the first time yesterday, Father's Day. I am catching up on some videos missed. I agreed with what was said about money giving you the opportunity to do the things that are important. As you (Dean) mentioned your having quality time with your son. Those times are priceless. It's refreshing to hear someone articulate the same views you have about why the aspirations to gain wealth. One of the reason I'm so motivated is because my parents are older now and their conversation are about pre-arrangements. It's a now thing for me because I don't want to be enjoying what they never experienced. What I mean is the peace of mind rather than the struggle. And sure the experiences of family vacations grandeur than going to the next nearby town. So thanks for all your inspiration and dedication.

YES

This is what it's really about!!
Having the money and time to be
able to spend it how you want.

This post really speaks to me
because I'd love to be able
to do things like that for my son.
He loves monster trucks too! haha

Anyway, thanks for your expression
of gratitude - family is so important
& I enjoy your updates Dean!! thx
