Thanks for the Weekly Wisdom Dean, it is always an inspiration to listen to your Weekly Widsoms. I couldn't agree with you more regarding not focusing on the problem and taking your vision off of the wall but Focus on the Solution!! I went to Ohio beginning of this week and I have been sooo overwhelmed focusing on solutions that the stickin thinkin did not even have a chance to enter my mind---what if this or what if that could go wrong. I just jumped in with both feet and started to take control. I am sooo pumped up I met my
rehabber, toured properties I purchased, looked at potential properties, etc....and the list goes on and on.....I know that associating with like minded people such as myself is important as well when it comes to that stickin thinkin...We are what we eat, We are who we associate with and We are what we think

It is funny that I have been studying about mind power and it is amazing to then hear you speak about what I feel stops most people from taking action on their dreams.

I appreciate the analogy of plaque on the brain because my wife works for a dental practice and she is always stating how important it is to floss every day.

You can choose to do or not to do it,however the compounding effect of that choice one makes will be manifest itself in time.

So the weekly wisdom,the coaching, the networking are like the floss for the brain.

I am excited and reinvigorated!

Wow Dean I was just talking to my girls about this very thing this morning. So true, so true, so true. Thanks Dean. WOW.

What do you do when you are married to a stinking thinking person that admits he is unhappy in every part of his life, but wont do anything to help himself or let you assist him? I even signed up for Tony Robbins in San Jose yesterday after he finally said, okay he would go, and then he told me the only reason he said yes is because he thought I wanted him to go. After our discussion about going for himself and not for me, I am unfortunately cancelling his ticket this morning. He wasn't always this way,... so I thought? He got his real estate license a few years ago to help us with investing and it has been a downward spiral ever since. I found and put together several deals in property investing, using Deans methods and he would get so uptight about everything that could go wrong that I choose marriage over money. I now have a fantastic non profit that I founded, "Healing Horses & Armed Forces," but he is miserable always complaining about other peoples success and he gets so depressed. We need to make a good chunk of change in the next three years to pay off our ranch. That was part of the deal. If not everything we have worked for will go back to the previous owner and our ranch where we live and help veterans and service members deal with PTSD and MST will be gone. What do I do about my Stinking Thinking Spouse?

I go through this, on what seems to be a regular basis. It stems from my childhood and then from husbands and friends. That negative talk that lingers in the back of your mind and raises it's ugly head at the worst time. Been there, done that. Still going through that now, but have decided to change it and make something good come out of the "Negative Talk." It seems to come about when I am depressed, and the depression comes when I am over tired. This video has given me the motivation to change my thinking.

Thank you Dean for this video. I have bookmarked it and will be watching it when I start go into that "stinking thinking" mode. You're videos keep me on track and I appreciate having them available.

I'm cool because 12 years ago I came to the States with what only fit into 2 suitcases. I was 47 and I started a new life. I can do it again!

Every day we are faced with both good thoughts as well as negative thinking. We hear them from people, the news media, at home, in the work place and the general environments we encounter in our daily journey. That is why it is so important for us to surround ourselves with an environment of positiveness and successful achievements.
We have to stay focused on our dreams and aspirations despite the negativity. Stinkin' thinking' and discouragements are humongous challenges we encounter; but we have to continue to strive to conquer them.
I am grateful, Dean, for this forum where we get the opportunity to share our thoughts and be empowered by you Weekly Wisdom. It can keep us grounded and focused on the prize of realizing our Real Estate Investment dreams.

Hi Dean,
I've overcome a lot of this stinkin' thinkin' since I started with you 4 years ago. There was one Edge event that I still refer to to this day. Smirk on the inside!! I've also had to deal with a big naysayer who forced his stinking thinking my way whether I wanted to hear it or not. Kind of a proverbial FART of the worst kind. Every time from that moment forward I 'smirked on the inside', because I know that the words stinking up the air can't see the vision I can see of the certainty of my success and (at the time) eventual success.

I do have those moments of stinking thinking myself at times too; I turn them around with affirmations. Best thing to do with affirmations beside post them up where you see them all the time and putting reminders on your phone so they pop up several times during the day, is to do a voice recording of ALL your positive affirmations. You believe your own voice more than anyone else's. Listen to it every morning and any time you feel the stinking thinking starting to cloud the room.

Just got back from a wonderful Lake Powell Vacation. Just finally got the chance to hear Dean's video on KILL your stinking thinking. I agree to the 3 points he made;
1) Don't think about the things you THINK could go wrong, think on the very things that can go RIGHT.
2) FOCUS on things you have already accomplished!
3) Get proof; yes learn from those who have already made it happen and hear and use the very techniques that have been PROVEN to work.

I can tell you from my own experience that these 3 points are valid!

The best gift is LOVE. Wishing all our "Graziosi Group" a blessed and prosperious week.

Been a crazy Day...3 Weeks moving forward and Looking at what I can control and not what I cant / How far I have came in the last year and Focusing On solution to situation and not the problem.....It is not the problem that is the problem...but my attitude towards the problem and its solution that I need to focus on....

I SOLD ONE OF MY RENTALS LAST YEAR ON A LAND CONTRACT. THE NEW TENANTS MADE A FEW PAYMENTS AND FELL WELL BEHIND AND STARTED MAKING PARTIAL PAYMENTS WITH BROKEN PROMISES.
IT TOOK QUITE A LONG TIME TO FIND SOMEONE WITH ENOUGH CASH FOR A GOOD DOWN PAYMENT AND SOMEONE WHO WANTED TO PAY IT OFF IN TWO YEARS, SOUNDED GREAT, I GET OUT FROM A HOUSE WHERE I CAN SEE THE NEIGHBORHOOD GOING DOWN.
THIS WAS A BETTER NEIGHBORHOOD FOR THE NEW BUYERS SO WE WERE ALL HAPPY.
I BELIEVE THAT THE NEW OWNER (THE HUSBAND) GOT INTO DRUGS AND SPENT THERE INCOME ON DRUGS, WHICH LEFT ME OUT IN THE COLD.
I HAVE BEEN DOWN AND BEDRIDDEN NOW FOR NEARLY THREE YEARS AND THAT MAKES IT REAL HARD TO MAKE MY ENDS MEET.
THE WIFE CAME OUT TO MY HOME AND WE HAD MADE SOME ARRANGEMENTS TO BRING UP THE MISSED PAYMENTS TO DATE BY DOING SOME TRADING OF VEHICLES.
THIS WAS AROUND CHRISTMAS TIME BY NOW SO I WAS IN NO HURRY TO MOVE VEHICLES AROUND IN THE SNOW AND FREEZING TEMPS.
WHEN I DID GET OUT TO GET THE VEHICLES, THEY WAS GONE AND SO WAS THE BUYERS.
I HAVE HAD NO LUCK LOCATING THEM SO I CLEANED UP THE HOME, DID THE NEEDED REPAIRS AND LISTED IT FOR SALE OR RENT.
I HAD SHOWED IT MANY OF TIMES AND FOUND A WOMAN WHO SHOWED INTEREST,SO SHE CALLED THE CITY WATER DEPARTMENT AND WAS TOLD THE HOME IS NOT IN MY NAME SO THEY CANT TURN ON WATER UNTIL I GET THE HOUSE IN MY NAME.
I STILL CANT FIND THE TENANTS, CAN I USE A QUICK CLAIM FORM OR WHAT TO CLAIM MY HOUSE BACK AT THE REGISTER OF DEEDS DEPARTMENT OR DO YOU KNOW OF A FAST WAY TO CLAIM MY HOUSE BACK WITH-OUT HAVING TO USE A LAWYER THAT WOULD COST A SMALL FORTUNE???
