Weekly Wisdom #378 - Do you know that you're amazing?

Elanor Roosevelt famously said this, "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent." And she couldn't be more right.

And in this week's Weekly Wisdom, I want to share with you how each and every one of us (myself included) have people in our lives that are stripping away our motivation, our drive, our inspiration and overall our success. When in reality, we are all amazing. We all are unique and beautiful in our own way and NOTHING and NO ONE should make us feel any different!

And with this message, I want to show you how to pick out the "battery drainers" of your life, and replace them with "battery chargers".

Your success and ultimately your life depends on it!

Watch now!

Very good message Dean

The only real encouragers I have in my life are people like Eleanor and Zig, you, Joel, Dani Johnson to name a few. I have isolated myself in order to keep the battery drainers at bay. I had been hurt and abused enough emotionally that I chose to stay to myself to have some peace. It is difficult for me to be close to people even though I like people and really would like to have people in my life. I am always working on this. The loss of all my family and two ended marriages was just plain too much. I am getting stronger and working on making a fresh start for myself as I approach 68. I don't know how much time I have left as does no one but it causes me to question How much do I want to be tied down with and considering the risks to take. Things we have to think about as we approach the end and when we try to make a plan from the end backwards in order to establish those goals. HEAVY !

keep your power

Dean is so right that each person has the right to choose who to be around, how to react to comments, and whether to continue allowing our energy to be drained by certain other people.
Here's a good question: do those drainers need someone to tell them they are okay and can get themselves back up to amazing? They may need a dose of your positive energy which can negate their negative output.

That is very empowering.

I could not agree with you more. That is very encouraging. Many of us lack knowledge of who we are and the authority we have. We are wonderfully made!

Inspiring

Dean I can remember the two types of people you mentioned. One was the battery charger and yes the other one the battery drainer.I am all for the battery charger type of person you mentioned. You are so right in that we all are uniquely different and we do need to not give our positive power away to negative people. It is truly a choice that we can make .Thanks Dean.

Hi Dean,

Another great weekly wisdom.....Smiling

I agree....we must distance ourselves from all the naysayers, and brain drainers in our lives....we all have them....some more than others...

" People may not remember what you say, only how you make them feel...Sad

Thank You Dean.....For all you do....xo

Regards,
Sharon
