Video

Dean, this is the first time that I got your video to work on this old computer. Apparently your videos don't work well with windows XP. As far as your message is concerned - it's quite effective. I've had some experience with this process (of writing down things in order to focus on them) and it definitely works! I'm going to my first workshop today, and I'm getting excited. -Tom

Thank you Dean for the great topic. We listen to everything you teach. Case and point. We put out bandit signs. Worded just like you said in your post from Fl. I don't know how many you put out but we put out 2. We just got our 2nd call today. So, when people say you can't do this or that I smile and nod. Then I will share with them what I learned and did and the results. It was only two calls but that was 2 more than last weekend. Simply put, Your training works. I have never doubted your training. I have embraced everything I learn. If I have a solution for other RE investors I share what you have shared. Because I know it to be the truth. Thank you for the constant feed of ideas. I know they help me and the way I think. Thank you!

Get it done !!

Thanks Dean Smiling
Just wrote step 1 down:
not making offers.
*not taking action!!*
no bandit signs up.
I don't understand this hurdle (*)
My only hurdle in a nutshell..
This is a great lesson.
I always make lists, just don't always complete the lists.
Gotta get step one moved to step two.

Weekly Wisdom #169

Hi Dean,

As I mentioned in Weekly Wisdom #166, the only thing holding me back right now is cash. There are times I cannot even drive because I have no gas. No extra cash whatsoever. I used to always have cash put aside. Now, I have absolutely nothing. Social Services is paying, or has already paid for my 'B' license and 'D' license courses. I am doing something and have done something to make the necessary cash in order to move forward. I have to move backward a bit, in order to move forward. I have attained my 'Z' license. I had to drive an hour to and an hour from the place two days and a whole weekend. I was also still at computer school during this. I attended school eleven days in a row. Between bringing my son to a babysitter and picking him up and studying for the oral and written Z license test. I realize that unless I do these things, I will not move forward. Have a little patience, Dean, I am doing the best I can.
Talk to you soon,
Annis

Weekly Wisdom #169

Hi Dean,

Again, I am impressed with Matt Larson. Sorry I spelled his name wrong twice. I used a W instead of an R. Matt did not let the fact that he could not find good deals in the beginning turn him away from Real Estate. He persevered and turned it into something that works for him. Impressive! This warms my heart. Someone we can all be proud of! Way to go, Matt!!!!

You said that there is something about writing things down that makes us sleep better. Well, it has something to do with stress. Stress can be a killer. When we are so overworked and so stressed out, or we get good ideas in our sleep, writing them down gets them out of our mind and relaxes our mind. Writing is like a stress reliever. There was once a kid who would not talk much. No one knew what he was like. His parents happened to open his diary and they learned who he was through reading his diary. I guess he expressed his true self through his writing. I used to do that a lot when I got ideas in my sleep. I always slept better when I wrote things down. I understand that Albert Einstein used to write everything down. When someone asked him what his phone number was, he looked it up in the phone book. He said that he does not keep the unimportant things in his head. He needed his head to create and invent things. By writing down all the not-so-important things, he had room in his head for inventions! So there! It gives us clarity while relieving us of stress. Of course, I am not a professor. I am just using my head to attempt to answer some things that we find puzzling.

Till the next Weekly Wisdom,
Annis
