The Education Received From DG.com Forums

Not only do I learn from Dean (immensely!!), I get so much out of the info and conversation in the forums! It's like a little child learning from living with it's family: Picking up the "language", learning how to form relationships, learning the do's & don'ts, from other people's mistakes, etc. I am SOOOO thankful to have this opportunity to learn from all of you!

I agree. Good call for a forum. I have been able to ask and answer questions, confirm things that I was thinking (as far as strategies, approaches to deals, etc.), and learn things that I didn't know before.

I feel like I have some new friends and mentors even though I don't know anybody from Adam on here. I also have a deal (3 houses) that may happen from a connection on Dean's site.

I agree with all of you. This site is an all around great way to learn and grow as an investor. I have recieved a lot of useful tools as well as useful information from other investors on this site. Thanks a lot guys. The energy here can be very contagious as well. So I advice anyone to return here as often as possible. It will really help you grow your business rapidly and increase your confidence.

It is really nice to see such levels of appreciation for what we have access to here on the site. Lets here from more of you.

More minds are better than one....because I just realized that I could fill a journal on all of the NEW info I have learned on here in the last month.

If so then tell us about it.

I am posting this because it has really been on my mind lately but another lesson that I have learned on here is that to be an REI you must have a thick skin. Being told "NO" is an everyday thing as well as criticism from others. If we bow our heads and let that stuff soak in we will ever succeed at anything.

I guess I say this because as much as I see such great positives on here there as still that small few that post on here that may not realize it but are the "naysayers" themselves. They try to lift others up by putting them down and in such a way that they do not even realize it. If we all really think about what we say instead of just putting down the first thing that comes to mind, we can all stay positive and feel the support coming from others.

We can all succeed and we WILL. But a lesson learned is one not to be remembered.

more from this web site, than i ever thought possible, i have to admit @ first i was like hesitant on checking it out,(i'm talking about when dean first released the site) but i am so glad i did, because i lot of my RE contacts that i speak with think i am an experienced investor(or they thought that @ first), but i eventially told them that i'm new to RE, and they had this puzzled look on their face, and i have to give dean and this site a lot of credit for my know how & knowledge, thanks dean, SULLY.

I am glad you are learning so much here. I find that everyday I am adding to my personal REI journal that I keep. I post alot of the things I learn as well like how to save on title insurance and all that stuff. Anything to make us spend less money or no money is a great thing..lol...

positive support is a must also, but I also want to be corrected if I or anyone else posts something incorrect. We can only learn from mistakes and corrections. If noone corrects us they we will be doing the wrong thing over and over, then wondering why it isn't working.

so lets all make sure we do it right. The more experienced ones can help the rest from actually doing it before.

This is it. This is my project to commit to. My way to pay back my family and immortalize our legacy. I have been granted a monumental tool of financial abundance and I have every intention of utilizing it to it's maximum potential! I am young, however I have a heightened appreciation toward monetary value that was birthed from reckless spending habits and no real plan. Dean and all have you have provided me the road-map. From what I have learned in my one week of being affiliated with the AFF program, without even having read the entire first chapter is that we are ultimately a unit. A unit that is striving towards a similar goal which is to empower the world with financial education and wisdom with wealth. I ask that anyone in the Southern California Area assist me in assisting the greater good. Help me with the processes of closing these desperate homeowners out, giving them a better sense of hope and dignity and in turn, accumulate funds four our own empires. I'm a sponge with new information, we can can a great deal done with each other in this business and I look forward to continuing to learn with and from you all!

today after reading tons of info and Deans chapter on purchasing liens I called my realtor up and told him to find me a property with a note low enough for us to negotiate on. We will see how well I learned.
