I came upon this post by accident...I was just about to close down my computer (it's 3 am) Hadn't heard about this project before...glad I clicked on "more"or I would never have found these comments. Since Dean had us all set our goals for our rei busines immediately, I set my sites on helping at least one Dusabled Veteran and his/her family achieve homeownership somehow. By offering a house I bought at a deep discount? hmm
FREE rent for a year would surely help them get readjusted to civilian life and help with the budget...have them pay a mimimum amount of rent for 2 yrs and if payments paid on time all rent would be applied to pay for the house in full...I hadn't really come up with a final solution, as yet, been trying to get my first deal under my belt and have debt I hava to pay off of my own...but don't want to have to wait until my problems are solved..there will always be another one come up anyway, so I want to do this asap. Where can I find out more about this project and any other suggestions the dgfamily may have will be greatly appreciated. Semper Fi D-LO PLEASE RESPOND BY PM, TOO
