Thanks for those words of encouragement Tina, along with the rest of the dg family. I've just joined the PMI Success Academy, and Oh! am I excited.

However, where does a newbie go when they get flustered when the academy is closed for the evening? Does anyone know? I sometimes work days into the evening, when I need assistance the Academy, it's close.

Yiahhh, been there done that. While we slave away endless hours working and turning this dream into a set of goals and tasks, PMI takes the evenings off.
They're open until 7 MST, so you just gotta set your phone alarm for like 5:30 their time and get your questions in order. Sundays are tough too.... whah!

Now, after I went through the "OMG, I have to figure this NOW!!" period, I believe that them BOT being there 24/7 makes us learn to fish (swim) better-- makes us tougher and gives us more confidence. When we noodle it through, and [tada!] find the answer (or eliminate the question- ha!), we become wiser with each little victory.

You'll be just fine. And there's always some here...

Like Tina said, get all your questions together and ask them on a lunch break or so.
What I've done is write down questions that pop into mind as I go along and then next time I call the SA it's all there on paper.
By the way, you will ALWAYS get that feeling like you forgot to ask them something every time you hang up with them, that's normal.
Just to make it clear, it's talking to a physical person that's time restricted, the lessons and action plans are accessible 24/7.

I am a newbie in real estate investing.
I am here because I went to one of DG's seminars in NY where I received a package that had Deans books,info, etc in the package ,I am reading Deans book as I write this today on REI.
I am so excited to get started making money in RE .
How can I join this group ?

Janet, Tina started this thread because we noticed so many guests (those that haven't signed up to be a member on this site) were viewing the site. Guests have almost no options on this site as far as posting, replying, commenting or sending and receiving private messages (pm's)

My advice would be to DO IT
It is such a great program! The training is awesome and the live coaches are priceless. They will hold your hand (virtually ) as much or as little as you want. The Success Academy is truly what made the difference for us.

I hope you decide to take the plunge...you can still get your money back if you do 5 deals right? Just promise yourself you will, take advantage of the tools and education, and do it! Keep us posted!

you are referring to as being online right? We have many more members than that for sure. I think the guests just want to see what is is all about first. They will get so much more by being members and reading and asking questions. I didn't realize that couldn't see a reply. How do you see these numbers anyways, magical powers. LOL

Yes, users = members currently logged into the site
guests = those that are viewing the site without being a member or logged-in.

They can see other people's replies, they just can't comment or post their own.

These are the numbers you see on the home page, what's new and a few other pages I believe.
They're on the right side, above the sample list of currently logged-in members.
