Stuck on paralysis thinking mode.... hmmm

I tell you what...that big "P" word will definatley paralyze you from being able to do anything. Just do it!

In your mind if you have "the fear of failure"
that is what your mind will give you....failure! You are what you think.
Just be positive and know without a doubt that you can do it.

Houses are everywhere and people everywhere are needing to sell and most are willing to cut a deal just to move the house. All you do is ask and they will either say YES or NO.

You will look at so many houses and be so overloaded with "come look at my houe and buy it" requests...you won't know what to do.

Once you get the word out and start advertizing...you won't have time to be fearful. Believe me!

I wish I had about 3 of me now. I stay busy from early morning till late night with my phone ringing non stop with real estate requests.

If you are set on coaching just do it! It will be a great asset for you. I didn't go through coaching but I feel as though I did with all the great friends here on the Dean Graziosi board. I wanted coaching at the time but did not have the budget for it.
It is a great kickstart for you business if you can do it.

I will be starting my coaching this coming week and have already comitted to the program. Just today the rep who was supposed to call me back called me and went over some additional info over the phone. I will give it my best and hopefully sooner than later I can start posting comments in these forums and talk about what a great experience this has been for me. I love the fact that there are so many people applying Deans' techniques and achieving success. Also, the fact that there are so many people here willing to help out others and offer their knowledge. I am sure I wil be one of them in the near future.

Welcome to the DG family, glad to have you here. Your not the only one who has had the paralysis syndrome. It's more common than you think, all of us at one time or another had the same fear you did. I wanted to do rei for ten years before I actually did it. I didn't have the knowledge, I couldn't find anyone that knew what I wanted to learn. When I finally did, I was SO ready I jumped in with both feet. I didn't care if I was scared, I was so hungry to do it I did whatever I needed to make it happen. So when you're hungry enough you will overcome that fear and go for it. I made mistakes on my deals and still made money, so don't think you won't make a mistake because you will, but it's ok. Because in this business you will still make money if you just have the specialized knowledge you need. So do your homework and then make it happen, only you can do it!

Welcome to the DG family, It is our pleasure to have you here with us. Like Elena said, we have been there at one time or another. Maybe using paralyze is too strong of a word. Maybe you should say, that you lack the REI knowledge. Well, that is why you are here, to gain the knowledge necessary to take your first baby step, which you have already done. You committed to the program that will take you to the next level. You know, The first year of this business is the Toughest without a doubt, 90% of "Wanna Be" REI's Fail, or Quit within this time period, well guess what, it took me what seemed like Forever to make ANY type of progress and I felt like Quitting more times than most people know, but I delt with my emotions and kept pushing myself for Results, you know what happened......RESULTS HAPPENED.

I shared this story with you(thinkbig1) because it seemed like you could use a little Motivation. The commonalaties between your story and mine is The "Paralasis" that you speak of.......A Lot of the reason for my Slow Progress in the business was because of being "Scared" to Do ANYTHING, Even if the numbers worked I would find a reason to let the deal go.....I just had to let my Emotions go and use "LOGIC" as my Descion maker. Learn to Control this and you'll be fine, CLASS DISMISSED, SULLY

It is a very good sign that you recognized that the coaching program was for you. While I cannot speak from experience with it (although I had a family member for a coach), there are many others who have relayed their complete satisfaction with the investment. Coaches help others pull the trigger and it sounds like that is what you need. (It would seem that anyone who is still "thinking" about investing after 6 months of research, etc. should SERIOUSLY consider the coaching option. Time is money..especially in this market where the deals are there and it just might be that you may never do it without the hand holding and that would be a shame.)

Try to let go of the fear of failure. (I have done soooo many different things in life it is almost comical and not all of them were successes) who cares? I've gained knowledge with each new venture and for the most part am doing what I want. Change is liberating!

It's good that you have gotten past the "Fear of Failure" that holds so many back. Sometimes I think it's not so much our OWN fear of failure, but the fear of what others will have to say about it, the ones just watching for it to happen. Well, when a person can learn to believe in themselves and their training, take calculated risks, and ignore the naysayers, they will NO DOUBT succeed, even if it takes a few times trying. So, again, Congratulations, and we look forward to hearing great things from you! The coaching program will keep you in motion and run with you straight into that first deal.
