The definition of "restraint" is a control over the expression of one's emotions or thoughts. Freedom is POWER, DETERMINATION and ACTION. "without restraint"... without anyone or anything controlling your emotions or thoughts.
Therefore FREEDOM IS HAVING POWER< DETERMINATION TO TAKE ACTION WITHOUT ANYONE OR ANYTHING BEING ABLE TO CONTROL YOUR EMOTIONS OR THOUGHTS... IN ESSENCE THERE IS NOT A FORCE IN THIS WORLD STRONG ENOUGH TO HOLD YOU BACK... NOW THAT'S FREEDOM!
Everyone desires freedom from one thing or another. Every day we live with a yearning desire to obtain freedom from something in our life. A job, an addiction, financial burden, illness, pain, suffering etc... Every single day of our lives we are faced with something that we want to be freed from. Yet most do not take the steps necessary to obtain that freedom.They feel POWERLESS, lack DETERMINATION and never take the ACTION necessary to obtain the freedom they desire. Why? Because there are outward forces controlling their inward thoughts and feelings. It could be family, friends or society.
Family has conditioned our minds throughout our life to live by certain standards... you work a 9-5 job, pay your bills and sacrifice to make it in life. At least this was how my family conditioned me. Actually I was taught that the woman stays home and takes care of the house and kids and the man works... well in today's world that don't cut it! So I had to overcome and take control of those thoughts to gain freedom!
Friends influence your thoughts and emotions and call you crazy when you want to step out of the "norm" and change your life... why? Because truth is they don't want you to do better than they are, sorry but it's true! Yea I am crazy... CRAZY LIKE A FOX! Now get out of my way!
Society teaches us to want more and work more hours at our 9-5 job to obtain it. Society conditions us to believe that working extra hours at a job we hate to obtain more stuff will enable us to gain freedom. Society leads us on an endless pursuit of happiness and we follow along because everyone else is... Truth is that true freedom is only obtained by doing the things that society ISN'T doing... Follow your dreams... happiness is a journey not a destination!
What is your freedom worth to you? How bad do you want it? Only you know the answer to those questions. Only you have the POWER and DETERMINATION to Take ACTION and pursue that freedom.
Is that freedom worth sacrificing some recreational time to work on your Real Estate business?
Is that freedom worth not working more hours at your 9-5 job but instead taking that time to build your business and learn new ways to make money in real estate? This will take a huge sacrifice but by sacrificing the little bit of money you will make by working more hours to pursue your Real Estate career you will make MUCH MORE MONEY than you would working those extra hours.
Freedom is not given to us... it takes sacrifice and determination to obtain it. You MUST be willing to sacrifice some things, be determined enough to NEVER GIVE UP and most of all you must not give control of your thoughts or emotions over to someone or something else.
POWER + DETERMINATION + ACTION + CONTROL = FREEDOM!

Sometimes i feel like giving up because no matter how much I try, no matter how many offers, or how much positive energy i put out there i keep running into the same problem...either the property i wanted for a buyer was interested in turns out to be a ghost ad, or if it is available and in the price range and area the buyer wants, i run into tire kickers, or the property is not available etc, etc etc....I just keep getting shot down deal after deal after deal and I have the emails to prove....no much positive thought i put out there or how much i believe in the power of the law of attraction i keep getting miniscule results and knocked back 10 steps....no job does it for me, i dont want to work for someone else, thats just not for me....but i dont know what else to do....

Vonny, I want to encourage you with a littler tough love. You may need to tweak what you're doing but it took me 3 years to really create something that works here in crazy Southern CA. You will experience lots of rejection and failure along the way. Guess what? You need to just keep at it and never give up! You just found thousands of things and ways that don't work. What can you change do to change it up to create something slightly different. Don't keep doing the same things over and over again. Evolve from the rejection stronger and wiser.
I have had thousands of rejections, so many failures I can't keep track. I don't keep track... I learn from them, pick up the pieces and move on! This mentality is crucial to your success. Don't take it personal. Triumph takes time! NEVER GIVE UP... it is NOT AN OPTION!

I sacrifice by not watching so much tv...and I love the Big Bang Theory, so I feel like I'm sacrificing alot. But I think of it this way...once I'm free, I can watch as much or as little tv as I want.

I've made a lot of sacrifices to keep pursuing my real esate career. I gave up watching TV, I don't hang with most of my frineds like I use to and I even didn't go out an seek another job after I got laid off from my recent job. I'm putting all my extra time into my real estate career because that's how bad I want to be sucessful. All the fun,TV and frineds can come later when I feel I reached my goals. Freedom means a lot to me and I'm on the pursuit to achieve it.
