Quick Start check list?

I'm not sure of any checklist, however, I do know that if you boil everything down your journey can be taken in three steps. First, Find buyers. Second, find motivated sellers. Finally, tie the two together with contracts.

As you continue on study everything you can and follow any info you can find on building a buyers list. After you have 5-10 turn your attention to motivated sellers and do the same thing. Then, the paperwork.

So, what I did when I went though the book was transferred his "assignments" to a list. There's Day 1-5 with certain assignments right? Make that your list. It really helped me. After I read a section, I'd make a list. See if that helps. Good luck!

When you think of everything we do, it really comes down to two things we must do well if we are to succeed as wholesalers. Here is you check list:

1. Find buyers
2. Find good properties and get them under contract

That is it. Everything else supports these two things. If you do these two things and "baby" them, you will succeed. It is this simple. Master these two areas and the money will flow.

You got a lot of good information in your responses here. Dominic's quick start guide listed above is really quite good, I like to reread it as a refresher.

I would also really listen to Roy with his 2 item list, which is the crux of it all. Find buyers, find properties to get under contract. So my suggestion would be to create 2 checklist to feed both of those channels because they are equally important.
