What did you guys think of the call? If you didn't listen in shame on you!

I think it was very productive for people like myself just starting out. I'm actually trying to form my buyers list right now and I'm going to an REI meeting tomorrow night.

Thanks Dean and Jeff for sharing your time and helpful info.

PS Jeff is the one who convinced me to join the academy, he's a real smart guy, as are all the coaches. If anyone is on the fence about joining the academy, I highly suggest joining because you don't have to wait for a conference call to get in on this great information, you can call anytime of the day!

The call was excellent, alot of useful information.

What are the details on the Success Academy anyways? I'm sure there is prob a considerable joining fee, right? I would love to join but seriously doubt I have the capital to do so at this point in time.

I'd give the academy a call they can explain it better. (1-800-330-5759)

Try not to think of the money so much because they actually CARE about you succeeding and want you to succeed and also have the knowledge to get you there.

And I'm not trying to be a salesman for the academy but if you liked the call that's what the academy is.

Hi Paul,

Sorry you weren't able to hear the call. Dean had Jeff Jenson, the top real estate trainer on the line mostly. He mainly focused on the first thing you should do to get started. That is for the next 2 weeks we should focus on building a buyers list. 18 to 20 people we should have. It's like shopping with money as he said. One way to start is by attending real estate clubs. Buyers and investors are there. There is where you basically qualify ones who specify they are looking to buy. Some of the things to ask them are how often they are looking to buy, what type of property they are looking for, how much equity do they want, how much repairs they are willing to do or budget for,if they are looking to flip it. Also networking with title companies,home inspector's, contractors. People in the real estate proffesion. Brokers, etc. This will give you the opportunity to be expose to potential buyers/ investors. He talked about advertising yorself thruogh a web site called newslink.org. They are a website that gives you access to newspapers all over the world. In which they offer free advertising space. He talked about exceeding the investor expectation to gain future business fromm them. He talked about asking yourself what direction is needed for you to succeed in this. Whether you need a lump sum of money or whether your looking at this for long term investment/ retirement investment for ourselves. Assignment/bird dogging (no money strategy) would be best for lmps sum monies need. A lease option for long term. He talked about having good people skills being open to your own success. Writing down your assets to this opportunity. I hope this helps you! I will be looking into what is availible as far as technology to help you communicate better with this situation of not being able to participate in conferences on the phone line. Have you heard of the phone that will turn your voice into words on the phone screen? Something i saw on tv a while ago. I will find out what is available to help you! Keep the faith. Insightful

As a newbie in real estate investing, the call, though short, really gave me a lot of insights and direction. Prior to this call, I felt like I was just going through the motion and at times I would ask myself,"Am I doing this right?" But THIS CALL definitely gave me my needed direction as to what to focus on and the next important steps to take. It not only gave me the direction I need but it gave me a stronger magnitude. It got me so fired up again! Thanks, Dean and Jeff for sharing! Hope there'll be more of this to come.

mike i believe the academy is fit for each individual.they ask you a series of questions and fit you to the right tools.vern said it you should call them and ask you may be able to find that your first deal will pay for it.he is also right in saying it teaches you all that was on the call and much much more!! the coaches r great.IF you find you need something that i have learned from the academy feel free to ask but i will tell you i am still learning !! we r all in this together!!

The call started off by saying buyers lists is very important and if you have profit from RE now, You should know this! Now i will do a rant of other things,No magic kingdom,People skills are good,Action/use you resource,positive mind,write your assets...Take a single path,Who will own the property,good properties can be starter homes or lower cost homes,620 CR score can buy property,Questions for buyers(cash or not)(When do you buy)(Size and all of what they want to buy)(Do you rehab),Finding buyers(REI clubs or groups,IT is one in the same),Beware of the list of buyers you can get free or buy,When dealing with buyers/investers-charge less on your deals when you know(they are buying many)Networking is a great tool,Professionals, newspaper online free ADs,Auction means buyers,option money is for someone else to give,Birddog = 10% of equity,joint venture 50/50, buying property = equals monthly $,clause-successful trans. or give me my EMD,AND motivated sellers are the target!

Call was great!

The message on the call about formulating your buyers list really hit home
for me as well. I had talked to Coach Nathan last Friday and that is exactly
what he told me to focus on. I was able to attend my first REI club meeting
this past Tuesday night and I was able to add 3 investment buyers to my list
while there, all cash buyers ready to buy! I got a call from another guy
Thursday morning wanting me to find homes for him as well. He is a broker who
has a lot of investor clients that he is trying to find houses for so he was
very anxious for me to add him to my list of buyers!

Needless to say, the REI club is a great source to find buyes as well as other professionals, such as re agents, rehab experts, lenders, etc. I also
want to thank cbrpower for his comments I found in the forum topics on this
very subject, what to say, how to act, similar to what Jeff said on the
conference call tonight when going to the meeting. Thanks you guys for sharing. It really helped.

Making a buyers list doesn't seem that difficult anymore!!!
